Mattias pov:

.・゜゜・. "So what did Kairi tell you when I was playing with ale ?" I asked Anna when the boys left my house

"Oh um, he just thinks that I'm good for you" she was looking through her bag, avoiding eye contact "that's all?" I asked "and that he thinks you like having me around"

"Oh well I do" I said "and that you talk about me a lot" she was still avoiding eye contact so I stood next to her, hoping she will look at me "Mattia, I just need to know, do you like me? Like not in a fake way?" My heart sank to my stomach

I didn't know what to say to her, I don't know if I do like her or not. I mean I know that she is all I think about. Everytime I hear her voice, I have the urge to smile

"Forget I asked, can i take a shower?" She said and I nodded in response

As I heard her lock the bathroom door, I pulled out my phone and called Kairi

"Hey man" he said "you told Anna, that I talk about her and that you think she's good for me?!" I tried not to raise my voice so Anna wouldn't hear me "oh yea about that.. ha ha"

"Kairi she asked me if I like her" I heard him gasp "what did you say?" I heard Alejandro say "wait ale's there with you?" I said "yea I'm right here kinda hurt you didnt call me too" Alejandro said
"Sorry it's just Kairi over here put me in this position anyways I didn't say anything, she didn't let me she said to forget about it then went to take a shower" I heard the boys scoff "dude you do like her just admit it" Kairi said "does he really?" Ale said

"You guys aren't helping, I truly don't know if I do or not" I was staring to stress myself out "well just tell her that then, you guys can both figure it together" Kairi said "what if I say no?"

"Look man we can't tell you what to do" Alejandro said "ok ok she's coming out bye"

Well that didn't help, I still don't know what to tell her

She came out the bathroom, avoiding eye contact with me and went straight to her bag, again.

"Anna" i said, she hummed in response "I don't want to leave you without an answer so-" she cut me off "Mattia no you actually don't have to tell me, I don't know what was going through my head, it wasn't my place to call you out like that" she turned around and faced me "let's go to bed" she hid her body underneath my covers

"Can we cuddle tonight? As fake lovers" she giggled "yes, yes we can" I headed over to my bed and wrapped my arms around her waist, pulled her closer and layed my head on top of hers "goodnight matti" she mumbled "goodnight Anna" I kissed her head befofe drifting of to sleep

Annalise pov:

.・゜゜・. I was afraid what Mattias answer would be, i couldn't even take the shower in peace without thinking of Mattia

Part of me wanted him to say yes because our fake relationship makes me so happy but it's fake and if it ever turned real then it would be different

So yea the other part of me wanted him to say no, so neither of us will go through pain.

I didn't even want to know his answer so I didn't let him tell me. I knew that either of both of the answers will end up hurting me.
