Chapter 10

I look on the clock and it says it's already 2pm. I sat on the edge on my bed, sighing. It's been a day since the walk with Hunter and Hunty. After we took the cab to my home, he stayed for awhile before going back. Surprisingly, our pets, Hunty and Kelty, got along quite well and they never tried to kill each other.

I'm still surprise by the fact that he and Ashely were together. It's ridiculous to think that Mrs Stone likes Ashely. I mean, Hunter did told me that Mrs Stone was like Ashely, a slut and also very rude. But once she got to know her late husband, she changed. But sadly, he passed away but the good thing was that her attitude remains the same but there were times she shouted at Hunter for all the small mistakes. Like, accidentally dropping the bag of cereal when I purposely tried to scare him or when he curse at me playfully but she heard it and scolded him. But, at least she wasn't a bitch like Ashely.

I frown because thinking about Ashely makes me think about school.

I'm SO not excited to come back to school on Monday. It was because I wasn't ready to face Charles, my ex best friend or having to face the devil, Ashely or not being able to speak to Hunter because of the cliques we're in. Other than that, I've already skip school two times, one of them is because me and Hunter went to the beach and the other time was when my mom wanted to go to do something 'fun' together.

Well, it was kind of fun considering Hunter brought me a cat, Kelty. Speaking of Kelty, it was sleeping peacefully on my bed we hung out yesterday and it wasn't like any other cats. Kelty was actually very friendly and likes to get petted on the head. It also like to play around on my bed and likes to sleep in the middle of it taking up the whole place. My phone vibrated and I look at it to see who was it. Sadly, it wasn't Hunter but instead it was Kevin the pizza guy.

Kevin:
Hey!
Are you busy today?

Me:
No, why?

Kevin:
Do you want to hangout?
At a café maybe?

Do I want to hangout? I asked myself. I wasn't really in the mood to since I wanted to spend my whole day studying for the lessons I missed. But, I might be bored in the evening, I sighed and reply

Me:
Yeah sure.
Meet you at Daisy's café?

He replied 'ok' with a smiley emoji. I don't even go to that café before, but what I know is that it's near my house. I glance at Kelty and sighed I guess I'm going to ask my dad to take care of Kelty since it really likes my dad. I stood up from my bed and tied my hair into a ponytail. I took out my home clothes and decided to just wear an oversized hoodie with tights and sneakers. I pet Kelty one last time before going out of my room. I said goodbye to my mom and dad. Before stepping my foot out of the house.

I walked for what seems like an hour when it's actually only 30 minutes. I went in the café and spotted his blonde hair right away. I went to seat down on the opposite side of him. He smiled and said

"Hey, would you like to order anything?"

I look at the menu on the table and everything seems to be so expensive. I scrunched my nose and decide whether or not a ten dollar cup of latte is worth it. I only brought five dollars. Pitiful, I know. Kevin noticed my reaction and chuckled.

"I will pay for it don't worry," He reassured

"Okay, than I guess I'll take the latte," I said.

He nodded his head and calls for the waiter to take order. Once done, we wait and played our phone. It was a really awkward silence and it was getting uncomfortable every minute. Luckily, our drinks came and I took a sip on it. Little by little.
