(rlly short but wholesome 🥺)

twenty minutes had passed, and conversation was flowing like water down a drainpipe. Rami spoke about an upcoming audition he had booked with a theatre company in London. He seemed so enamoured and gleeful, that I couldn't help but feel the same way, I hope he gets in. I really do.

"I suppose if you get in, you'll be too good for us mere peasants." Gwil jokes.

"My dear, I will never grow tired of any of you, maybe Ben, maybe." Rami retorts.

"Hey!" Ben exclaims, raising his eyebrow.

"I kid, I kid." Rami chuckles. "I love you all, that includes you Delilah." he says, motioning to me.

I could cry then and there, how have I been blessed with such lovely people.

"Let's make a toast!" Joe suggests, holding up his glass of coke. "To our new friend, who i'm sure will become a lifelong comrade to us all." he says, and everyone raises their drinks and clinks.

"Guys..." i say, blinking back tears. "I love you all already." I say.

Gwil looks at me and smiles. We'd been talking all night. Gwil loves Rugby and his parents are both doctors. We spoke about Queen and other interests and oh my god if I wasn't already enamoured with this guy.

Gwil then wraps his arm around my shoulder. I think he could feel my body stiffen at the unexpected contact, so he began to pull away. I stopped him and gave him a quick nod, signalling that it was ok. I placed my head on his shoulder, just like that fateful day in the store cupboard.

The others looked around with the smuggest grins on their faces.

"Shut up." Gwil said, dismissing them.

Suddenly, Lucy pulls out her phone, and before either of us can react, snaps a photo of us.

"Sorry, I couldn't resist." she chuckled.
