[Your POV]

The bright light spreads everywhere the time that I open my eyes.

My body was covered with white cotton fabric and I'm wearing... Hospital gown?

There's no one inside the room except me so I can walk around.

People was busy doing their jobs but a man figure caught my attention, he's sitting on a wheelchair while arguing with the nurse who's pushing him.

I follow them behind, hiding behind the walls like a spy. I wait until the nurse finally went out and walk to the door to peck who's inside.

"Y/N " A manly voice echoed.

I open the door and he gestures me to sit beside him on the small sofa and so I did.

"How did you notice that I'm... I'm following you." I was overcome with embarrassment.

"Its just a squint but I can clearly tell it was you." He respond.

"Are you sick?" Our eyes finally meet.

"I had a fever." Simply said.

"Well, I think I gonna go and take some rest." I chuckle nervously and pat his shoulder.

To my surprise, he pull my hand as my body falls onto the sofa but what's embarrassing is my head landed against his hard chest makes my heart skip a beat.

I don't know if I'm hearing my own heartbeat or his. Its pounding very faster. "Stay." Those word drive my heart go crazy.

"C-Come again?" Did I heard it right? Or my ears are betraying me.

He's confusing me.

"Let's get some fresh air outside, the atmosphere is suffocating." He chuckle causing me to feel annoyance but it somehow sounds like a chime in my ear, feeling overcome with inexplicable euphoria.

The hospital has a few workers and  patient passing by since its 8:00 , its time to get rest. We finally reach the door as I slowly open it, the wind blew not just gentle breeze but full-blow bone chilling cold wind.

He guide me to the wooden benches and seat near the old oak tree.

No one speaks.

My hands move to my nape and scratch as I remember my mom, she might be worrying about me. I grab my phone and dial. "Mom? I-I'm at my classmates house and we're having a sleepover since our project is close to the deadline so our group leader calls an urgent meeting."

I explain very fast almost out of breath. I heard her hum.  "Got it. Be safe." She sigh heavily.

"I love you." I whisper before ending the call.

"It's about your family problem, right?" He suddenly ask out of nowhere. "You know what, after many years of schooling, we know him to figure lots of things, but we may not know how to forgive ourselves and other."

I was silent.

"Your childhood is over. You can't blame the past or anyone in the past for what you do today. It's done. It's past. Forget all of it." He said in a calm manner of speaking.

"Your parents weren't given a instruction manual about life. No easy task. Along the way, they made lots of mistakes. They're weren't a perfect parents. But you should face it, you weren't a perfect child, either." As he emphasize those words it feels like a sharp blade was stabbing my chest repeatedly.

I was offended but it's the truth that I should keep in mind since then.

He opens my eyes to see the reality that my negative thoughts keep ignoring it, making me blind not noticing the deep meaning of it.

Unlike what I used to do I let my tears fall to feel better, and to release all the negative thoughts that's running on my mind.

I'm glad that's there's a person I turn to at this point.
