"No! No! Honey, please don't leave."

The heart breaking scenario breaks your heart into million pieces, seeing your mom in the middle of the peaceful night, restraining her sobs and kneeling in front of your dad. Your chest tighten as you control your emotions coming from nowhere.

You thought everything was fine and all of it was your doubt.

'Why did he hurt mom? Why is he doing all of this to us?'

'I never thought of having a broken family but here I am. Feeling the pain and standing like a helpless child.'

Your mom's back curled and her hands dropped down her lap, supporting herself from falling while her heavy breathing was increasing the tension. "I need you." A tear slipped down. Your heart keeps on pumping very fast when you heard your mom said that.

Little did they know that you're watching them.

You look at the ruthless man who's standing in front of her.

Liquor wasn't ruling his actions, evil was.

Hatred was all you're feeling when I heard your dad chuckle and click his tongue, obviously disrespecting your mother.

You're just few meters away from them hiding behind the wall near the door frame and you can clearly hear their fight.

Your heart skip a beat, the moment his clenched fist slam against your mom's face. "Damn it!" He yells not realizing the noise he just created.

Hot tears starts streaming as you hold your stomach to prevent the sobs from coming out. Your palms turns into fist.

You felt like there's a liquid substance that's dripping from you hands so you took a glance and noticed that your nails are digging into your skin in so much rage. But it feels numb unlike the feeling you used to be.

Once again you peek at them.

You can't take it to see my mom getting hurt.

Your eyes tightly closes as burning outrage increase. Waiting your initial wrath eased before you voice your complain but you cant control your temper. Your head was overcome with anger and you dont know what happened next.

In less than a heartbeat, screams from your mom was heard.

She look at you with eyes wide open, her eyes was full of sadness, shock and unexplainable emotions.

Your dad fell down the cold platform holding his left stomach, swelling. You dropped the pencil you're holding and look at your hands covered with blood. All the pain and realization hits you very hard causing your head to throb. You blink vigorously as the tears keeps rolling down.

'No. This can't be.'

Your mom was shouting but you can't hear it all, the loudness of your own heartbeat is ear spitting. You can do nothing but run away and hide yourself just like always.

The dark serves as your bestfriend for a long period of time and the light became your biggest fear, you fear the light to rise that brings you to reality that you're afraid to face.

You step back and manage to run away although your vision is blurry because of the tears.

Dragging your bike, you drive as if no dead end is waiting for you. The street is slippery causing the wheels to run faster and your path became zigzag---

You suddenly crashed against the hard metal barrier, hitting your forehead and fall down the wet floor.

Your head throbs even more as if it's going to explode anytime. You want to shout and release all the pain but you can't, not because you fear that someone might see you but because you can't let it out because of your aching chest.

You groan and touch it as the strong impact of pain strikes. The pain increases and its throbbing. Thought your knees are still quivering you force yourself to stand up and then you realize that you're on the bridge, with a few vehicles passing by.

Just when you look down to see the watercourse, your blood was dripping down from your wounded forehead but you don't care anymore. You can't feel it anymore and all you felt was hatred... Because your dad? Because yourself? Or because of faith?

Everyone adores your dad, everyone thinks that he's the best, people really does, you either. When you're a child, you treated him as your hero, your savior and your knight in shining armor but it hurts to think that the one you look up as your hero made you suffer and stay at this lonesome garden.

You want to travel back to the time where you're in your precious perfect life full of happiness as if there's no place for pain.

"Y/N. I love you." A familiar female voice echoed out of nowhere, it's your mom. You look from behind but disappointment was all you feel when you didn't saw your mom.

'She's not here, maybe I'm hallucinating again.'

The tears keeps cascading so you wipe it using your arms and inhale deeply.

Stepping closer while tightly holding the metal barrier you lift your right leg took a deep sigh and---
