Aboard Skybase's main deck, Colonel White, finishing Scarlet's explanation about the incoming attack, stands over Lieutenant Green as she operates her desk. Rapid action is about to be taken.
Colonel White:
Right. Thank you Captain. Scarlet must means the Mysterons are on their way. Lieutenant Green, sound a general alarm. We must prepare. Alert all Captains. At last, Skybase is about to face the Mysterons on home ground.
The Lieutenant sounds a general alarm and announces out to Skybase.
Lieutenant Green:
This is a general alarm for all members of Spectrum. The Mysterons are on their way to attack and destroy Skybase. I repeat the Mysterons are on their way to attack and destroy Skybase. All Captains are to report to Colonel White, and the Angels are to stand by in their Angel aircraft.
We see the four remaining angel pilots rush from their quarters and dash to their crafts. The Captains then rush up to the Colonel quickly. Captain Scarlet and Destiny frantically search in the Engineering Department for more activated bombs. The first bomb will now detonate in eight minutes, and counting! Scarlet holds the first bomb in his hand, Destiny finding another.
Destiny:
Paul! Another one!
She takes off the bomb carefully and rushes to Scarlet to place it in his hand with the first one.
Captain Scarlet:
We could take them off at least. I doubt we could disable all of them in time. Keep searching.
His radio mic swings down into position.
Colonel White:
Captain Scarlet, what's the situation at engineering?
Captain Scarlet:
Colonel, we've located two of the bombs and have taken them off their positions, but we can't destruct them in time. The Mysteron Sam must have hidden the other three in places where we can't find. We know she dropped at least one of them down somewhere. They're Spectra Detonation Devices. The Mysterons want to blow a hole in Skybase's defences to weaken us for the attack.
Colonel White:
S.I.G Captain Scarlet. Lieutenant Green, send every other available member of personnel down to engineering
The Captains stand with their arms behind their back and in front of the Colonel. A UFO is beginning to fly towards the direction of Skybase detected by Green. With a radio link from control to Scarlet and the Angels.
Lieutenant Green:
Yes Colonel! Colonel, a UFO flying on a course for Skybase!
Colonel White:
I'm not a believer of one in UFOs. But it looks like our time has come gentlemen. The Mysterons have finally come down to Earth to destroy Skybase. Lieutenant, launch one of the Angels to intercept.
Rhapsody:
Sir, let me go out there. I volunteer sir.
Colonel White:
Very well Rhapsody. But be careful.
Rhapsody:
S.I.G!
Her Falcon is lifted to the deck of Skybase, and launches it immediately without delay. It rockets from the platform and zooms around in the other direction to spot the Mysteron ship in the distance. We see it. The same design and shape of the ship as seen from the episode Enigma.
I have it on visual. It's...it's like when that ship came to Earth. It looks exactly like one of those.
Colonel White:
Is it doing anything out there Rhapsody?
Rhapsody:
Nothing for the moment sir. It's just sitting. Waiting there.
Colonel White:
I'm not taking any chances here. Return to base immediately.
Rhapsody:
Immediately sir.
ZAM! ZAM! A green energy beam shoots from the Mysteron ship, firing directly at the Falcon. KABOOM! The craft explodes.
I've been hit. I'm going to try eject!
Her craft plummets to the Earth until... KABOOM! Silence aboard Skybase. Not a sound.
Lieutenant Green:
Rhapsody? Rhapsody? Can you hear me? Come in Rhapsody!
Colonel White:
No good Lieutenant. Her craft must have exploded before she could eject. Captains – we are about to face our mostly deadly and confrontational battle in our fight against the Mysterons. Stand by. All Angels will launch. Blue, Ochre, Purple, Orange, and Indigo will all take the Hummingbird Helicopter individually. Grey and Magenta the Albatross. Green will remain here with me; Scarlet will help search for the remaining bombs. You all have your assignments. And I wish you all luck for what is about to come. And to say thank you for all your hard work and courage to the world against all we've done against the Mysterons. Now we have no idea what is to come next for Spectrum.
The Angels begin to rise from Skybase with the yellow FRED air traffic controller preparing the angels. They zoom off quickly as we see the five Hummingbirds as well as the two Albatross released from a hatch releasing them underneath Skybase to prepare for an attack. Destiny is the last to catch up with her Angels crafts. She jumps in and her craft is lifted to Skybase as she takes off to sprint off the runway to follow the other Falcon Interceptors. Scarlet still frantically searches across Engineering as desperately as he can to locate the remaining three bombs. His radio swings into position again.
Captain Scarlet:
Colonel White, we still can't locate the remaining bombs. And we only have six minutes left.
Colonel White:
Keep searching Scarlet. You're doing your best.
Lieutenant Green:
Colonel! They're moving in!
Colonel White:
Here we go.
We see the same Mysteron ship that shot down Rhapsody move in. More ships are imminent from the skies above. All around Skybase with the Angels, Albatross and the Hummingbirds circling the aerial base. They look up to see the Mysterons descending down and down.
Captain Blue:
Looks like this is it!
Destiny:
This is Angel Leader to all Falcon Interceptors, commence attack!
The four Angels all split off and scatter around as the firing from all Spectrum craft begins.
