Chapter Twenty Five

             _Chapter Twenty Five _

        Not Him.

We waited for another twenty minutes, as we were getting ready to leave a tall figure started to walk towards us, but it wasn't Richard.

        "Are you Bell?" The tall man asked in a deep, gruff voice.

        "That would be me, who are you?" I ask sharply

        "They call me Jack, but Im not hear for names, I hear to diliver a message." He says cutting to the chase

        "Well then tell me the god damn message." I say

        "Bottles," (Richards street name.) "sent me to tell you he cant come right now, but he wants you to meet him at the ice cream shop, you guys went to when you were younger, Tuesday." He says then walks away without another word, leaving me totally confused. I stood up, thinking over what that man just told me, why would Richard want to meet me at the ice cream, there has to be some reason he wants to meet in public...

        "Bell!" Gina yells, snapping me out of my thoughts, I look up to see Im in front of the little blue car, with them trailing behind me.

        "What?" I ask

        "Can you wait up?" Gina asked, finally in front of me.

        "Sorry, I got lost I got lost in thought." I say looking down.

        "Yeah, I know lets go." Gina say hopping in the car, me and Tonny hop in, we are soon home.

        "You guys can go home, I'm ust going to do homework,then go to bed." I say as We all step out.

        "I have to help my dad out, so Im going to head out." Tonny said

        "Ill come with you." Gina says sensing I wanted to be alone.

        "Bye guys Ill see you at school." I say walking up to my front door.

Its now 1;30 and I just finished all my homework, from the past couple of weeks I missed. I put all the work in my back pack and layed out and outfit, a white tank top, a blue skirt, a white flower long sleeved top, a pair of black heart sunglasses and my old black convers. I  took a quick shower and went straight to bed

I was woken up my my stupid alarm clock, I hit it until it shut up. I dragged myself out of bed, and to my bathroom. I brushed my hair and pulled it into a mess pony tail, and brushed my teeth I went to my room and pulled on the outfit I layed out last night. I grabbed my back pack and headed down stairs, to see my mom in the kitchen drinking some coffee.

        "Hey." I say taking a seat on the stool, across from her.

        "Morning, are you getting a ride?" She asks

        "No, I didn't ask anyone." I say

        "Well, I will drop you off, I'm heading that way anyway." She says grabbing her purse.

        "Thanks." I mumble, walking behind her to the door.

We walked to the door and hopped in, mom didn't spark up any conversations, she knew I didn't want to talk. When we got in front of the school, she stopped the car.

        "Thanks for the ride." I say stepping out

        "No problem." She says before I close the door. I walked up to the front door and stepped into the school, I walked to the junior hallway, to my locker. When people saw me, the started to whisper, I heard things like, ' I thought moved schools' and 'I thought she got hit by a bus' etc. I opened my locker and pulled off my back back. I took all my books and put them into my locker then shoved my backpack in there. A pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I look over my shoulder to see Tanner, with a small smile on his lips.
