It was a beautiful day.

Y/n was in a gorgeous huge white dress. Her makeup glowed in the sun.

We were at a beach.

My hair was tied back into a tight bun. I was in a black tux.

I was standing beside Sal and Todd.

Everyone clapped.

Y/n and Sal we're getting married.

I was Sals best man. I started to cry. I guess I was happy for them? I mean their perfect for each other. And I care about them both. But something inside me was saying different.

Something hurt. But also felt empty?

I was sad. And angry. But why? This was their big day.

I open my eyes.

Thank god it was just a dream.

But what did it mean?

I look around. I'm in an unfamiliar room.

"Hey."

I jumped

Then I noticed it was Sal across the room.

"Hey." I said laying back down.

"How bad was I?" I asked

"Not too bad." He replied.

I sat up.

"Are you okay?" I ask. "You seem off."

It was true. He seemed more uncomfortable than usual.

"Yeah it's just- ahh fuck it." He said and got up.

"No come back! What's going on?" I called

He sighed.

"I think.." he trailed off

"I think I'm in love with y/n."

My heart sank.

Then I realized why that dream had hurt me so much.

Why I loved hanging out with her.

Why I got protective over her.

Why I always wanted to be with her.
