"Cali, we are ready for the sports festival," Jade said.
"We should be able to cover everything for this coming event. Patrick's team is ready?" Cali asked.
"He called and said that his team is ready," Jade replied.
"We should get going, I'm hungry from this planning," Cali said.
"Might as well have lunch. Vanessa and Tracy called if we were to meet them up after for lunch," Jade said as she packs her stuff.
"Tell them we'll meet at San Marzano for lunch," Cali said.
"All right! Message sent. They said ok, we should head out now," Jade said as she checks her messages.
"I will watch the basketball game to see if there's any cute guys in the team," Vanessa said.
"Always on the wrong side," Jade said.
"What is wrong with being friends with the basketball team?" Vanessa asked.
"If you want to meet someone on the team, why not ask Michael to introduce you to one guy," Tracy said.
"I could try asking Michael if he can help," Cali said.
"I want to do it my way so it's ok Cali," Vanessa said.
"Good luck with that Vanessa coz they might have a girlfriend," Tracy said.
"Well, we can't be sure so stop killing my chances of having one," Vanessa said.
"Don't exaggerate your behavior if you ever talk to the guy. Last time you turn someone off because you said something wrong," Jade said.
"Come on now Jade, give her a break," Cali said.
"Thanks, Cali, these two weren't supportive," Vanessa said.
"No worries," Cali said.
"I'm sorry girls but I guess I have to go now. Jordan said he will meet me up at school," Tracy said as she was looking at her phone.
"Go ahead, we'll be going back soon enough," Cali said.
Catch you later, girls," Tracy said as she leaves.
"Cali, are you watching Michael's game?" Vanessa asked.
"No, he's upset, but he understands that I have to do something," Cali replied.
"Well, you're lucky to have him as your boyfriend. The guys will be angry if their girlfriend can't come to their game," Vanessa said.
"Michael is different from them," Jade said.
"Cali hit the jackpot with him," Vanessa said.
"We have to go back," Cali said.
Cali traveled home after her last class since she received a call from her father.
"Do you want me to go with you Cali," Jade asked as she drops Cali at her apartment building.
"I'll be fine Jade, he said he wants to talk," Cali replied.
"It was so sudden for him to call you," Jade said.
"I notice," Cali said as she got off the car.
"Call me ok?" Jade asked.
"Sure," Cali said before saying goodbye.
As Cali made inside her apartment, she looked at her father in the living room reading a newspaper.
"Hi, Dad!" Cali said as she put her bag on the couch.
"It's been a while since we met Cali," he said.
