"The history of this cafe' is interesting," Gab said as they arrived at Cafe' Reggio."It looks interesting from the outside, do you assume we can even sit here?" Cali asked.
"I reserved a table for us because this place never runs out of customers," Gab replied.
"Nice," Cali said.
"As you notice, the furniture and paintings come from the Renaissance period. The most interesting display for me is the espresso machine which they used to make espresso drinks in 1927," Gab said.
"Why won't you be a teacher?" Cali asked.
"I guess I'm not interested but let's go back to our paper," Gab said.
"They featured this place as a backdrop in classic New York movie, The Godfather and Serpico which makes this cafe' more famous," Cali said.
"I felt everything in this coffee shop is remarkable," Gab said.
"Does this place make you miss Italy?" Cali asked.
"Why do you ask?" Gab asked.
"Don't you have memories you wish to experience?" Cali said.
"I got vague memories of where I came from, so it doesn't make me miss Italy compare to others," Gab said.
"So your only memory of Italy is with Phoebe and your Dad?" Cali asked.
"Yes, since my mother died after giving birth to me," she replied.
"Oh, I'm sorry to learn that Gab," Cali said.
"It's ok, I'm glad being with Phoebe and Uncle Angelo and my friends at the cafe'," she replied.
"You and Paige are close too, are you two in a relationship?" Cali asked.
"No, Paige and I are just friends," Gab replied.
"It's funny how you answer Gab, you're so serious," Cali said.
"It's because most girls asked me that question. Paige owns a bar, and he works as a bartender. Most of the girls are his customers and every time I visit him, the girls want to throw daggers at me when they caught me with Paige together," Gab said.
"So, his a low-key famous," Cali said.
"He is, but he denies it," Gab said.
"Two cappuccinos and two cornettoes for you ladies," the waiter said as he served our food on the table.
"Thank you, Sebastian," Gab said.
"Is there something else I can do for you, Gabrielle?" he asked.
"We're good, thanks!" Gab replied.
"You're a regular here so I need to take care of you, or sir Angelo will be angry," Sebastian said.
"Sebastian, he will not be angry at you. You're doing an impressive job here and you've been an excellent worker ever since I met you," Gab said.
"Well, I appreciate the compliment. You never change Gabrielle, take care always," he said.
"I will, Sebastian," Gab said.
"I need to go back, catch you later ladies," he said as he left to attend another customer.
"How do you met him, Gab?" Cali said.
"Sebastian was a former worker of Uncle Angelo," Gab replied.
"Oh ok! I guess we should dig in before our cappuccinos get warm," Cali said.
