Eren Jaeger POV

"Eren you need to go to bed." Levi persisted again.

"No Levi, I have to take care of Armin plus I'm not even tired right now," I responded trying to rock Armin to sleep. The car ride had woken him up and I just got him to stop crying, if Levi thinks I can sleep when Armin is sick he's dead wrong.

"You haven't slept in about three days now, you're tired, I think it's just adrenaline."

"And I think you underestimate me." I shot back.

"Fine, I suppose I can't make you go to bed if you don't want to but you need to soon."

"Sure," I said before putting Armin in his crib since he had finally fallen back asleep.

"I'm gonna make lunch, is there anything you want?" I asked walking out to the kitchen with Levi.

"No, I'm not picky."

"Alright Ramen it is."

~Time skip~ -A week later-

"Levi are you ready? We have to go." I said somehow carrying my bookbag, Armin, the diaper bag, and holding Mikasa's hand. Today Levi was starting at my school, I hope he's prepared Jean and his gang can be real assholes although I think they'll leave him alone.

"Yeah I'm ready, let's go." He said and I nodded letting Levi go first so he could open the door, of course, we were running late again.

We arrived at my school about a half-hour later after dropping off Armin and Mikasa. When we got to the door Jean was, of course, was already waiting for us. "Good morning Ellie, did you enjoy your week off, oh and who's that with you?" Jean teased.

"That's not my name and to answer your question it's none of your damn business," I said and continued my way inside the building.

"You little shit, you'll pay later for talking to me that way!" He yelled but I didn't respond.

"Who was that?" Levi asked.

"A horse-faced asshole, he's not important," I answered and Levi just nodded. "From the looks of it, you have all your classes with me so showing you around will be easy enough,"  I said as we walked into the math classroom.

We didn't really have time to talk again until lunch which was when I decided to introduce him to my friends. "Everyone this is Levi, I guess I forgot that Connie and Sasha already met him," I said sitting across from Reiner with Levi sitting next to me.

"So Levi, how are you enjoying your first day here?" Christa asked.

"It's fine I guess, not too much different than my old school, Eren are you gonna go get lunch?" He asked noticing that I was the only one without a tray.

"Ah no I don't usually eat lunch since it cost money and I can eat for free at work," I explained.

"I see so now you barely sleep or eat huh?"

"Stop fussing over me you sound like an overprotective parent plus you should be used to this, I'll be fine."

"Oh, will you now? And who had to drag you to your bed after you stayed up for eighty-seven hours straight and passed out while making Mikasa macaroni and cheese?"

"I scared the heck out of that child yes, but you're the reason she's been calling me an idiot since then," I said the whole group now watching our bickering in amusement.

"That's because you are one."

"Oh yeah, and how about when I woke up to the house completely destroyed, several boxes of burnt macaroni, a small fire on the stove, and two crying children. How do you even burn Mac'n cheese?"

"I told you I just forgot to turn the burner off after I strained it, I didn't even see the fire, Mikasa and Armin teamed up against me."

"And how long did it take me to calm them both and stop the fire?"

"Five minutes," Levi responded defeated.

"Aww come on Eren, don't be too hard on him, you're a superhuman he can't keep up," Connie said.

"Superhuman? How's that?" I asked and watched as pretty much everyone gave me a look.

"Well let's see," Berthold started, "You're sixteen, taking care of two young children, paying all the bills, you working three jobs, attend school and run all the errands, and you aren't insane."

"Not too sure about that last part," Levi mumbled under his breath causing me to punch him in the shoulder playfully.

"I don't really think it's that big of a deal I mean I'm sure there are others who deal with more than that every day," I said.

"You're too modest, give yourself more credit," Reiner said.

"Oh yeah Halloween is this weekend, have you guys gotten costumes yet?" Sasha asked.

"Oh crap, I totally forgot about that, Mikasa needs a costume and I'm sure she'll want Armin to have one too," I said now think about where I was gonna find the time for that.

"No worries, I prepared for this, even a superhuman such as yourself is bound to make a mistake every once in a while. All of us will be going to the mall after school to get costumes, Eren I want you to bring Mikasa and Armin I think we all miss them." Sasha said.

"But I have too-" I started but was cut off by Ymir.

"Work? I called Petra and explained the situation, she said it was fine to have the day off as long as you sent her and the boys pictures." Ymir said.

"Well that parts taken care of but I don't know if I have enough money to get something Mikasa really wants,"

"Christa dear I think it's time we bring it out," Ymir smirked.

"Yes I agree," Christa responded.

"Wait bring what out?" I asked. Christa put a big jar full of cash on the table.

"Woah where'd that come from?!" I asked.

"This here is our funding for Eren jar, we've been secretly saving up money to go shopping with you because we thought you deserved it. This jar contains over two thousand dollars, don't worry we all pitched in and we've been saving for months, also you aren't allowed to say no."

"Eren you're friends are crazy," Levi whispered.
