Ashton's POV
Summer, Devyn, and Kat walk over to me "What happened?" Summer said and looking suspiciously at my big grin "I'm no longer single!" I say like I just won the lottery. "With Colby?" Kat whispers loudly, "Yes!" I say and do the high pitch girl scream that every girl does "When did this happen?" Devyn asks "like two seconds ago!" I say with a small smirk.
// 2 hours later//
I and Colby are laying in bed together with Colby's arm around my shoulder and my head leaning against his chest while watching Rick and Morty. "Are you happy you're with me or are you just a crazy person wanting fame and money?" He asks when the episode ends "I'm happy I'm with you!" I say pecking his lips and he smiles. "How long did you have a crush on me?" I ask sitting up and looking at him "ever since I met you." he says with a smile, I blush. I fix his hair that was all the side of his face to spread out across his forehead and he takes my hair out of the messy bun it was in "You look pretty with your hair down," he says and I put my hair back in a bun "No I don't" I say leaning over towards the wall, "What did I do?" he says sounding worried "nothing, I'm just tired," I say closing my eyes and feeling body warmth on my back and smile.
// Next Morning//
I turn over to see Colby gone, I sit up and see him over at his desk editing a video "What's wrong?" he asks "Oh nothing, I just didn't see you right when I opened my eyes," I say getting up to go to my room "Where are you going?" he asks turning his chair towards me "I going to get dressed," I say going down the hall to my room and get dressed in a gray sweater with ripped jeans.
I walk back to Colby's room but before I open the door I hear yelling in Jake's room. I walk over and the door is cracked, I see Colby and Jake arguing "Colby, she doesn't deserve you, you're a player," Jake yells I run downstairs and find Sam in the kitchen "Sam, drive me to Kat's" I say "Why?" he asks " Just drive me there," I demand, he runs over to his keys and hear footsteps running down the stairs following withJake's voice "Ashton! I'm sorry! Did I say something wrong?" he yells over. I get a text from Jake:
J: I'm sorry
A: No, your not, you called Colby, my BOYFRIEND, a player that didn't deserve me
J: oh
A: let's not talk about this right now
J: ok
5 minutes later
J: Can you help me out?
A: Sure
J: Colby has asked me about 10 times what happened to you
A: Tell him I'm okay, I just need some time alone so I'm visiting for the night
J: he asked why now
A: Tell him it's because of Jake
A: No offense
J: oh
J: he asked why are you still talking to me (Jake)
A: When you said Colby was a player and didn't deserve me, I didn't believe you, I thought you just jealous of us
J: Well, yeah, that may be true
A: but you have Summer, she's amazing
J: When I want to learn what type of stuff she hates she just dodges the question
A: Poor Jake
J: Sometimes, I don't think she is that into me as I think she is
A: Just talk to her and say "Summer, I think you being just a LITTLE bit clingy can you please calm down"
J: What if she doesn't listen
A: I don't know, it usually worked for me and her middle school boyfriend
J: When should I ask her?
A: The next time she is being too close
J: Ok, thanks for the help :)
I put my phone down and Sam is pulling into the driveway "Here we are, can I ask why here out of all places?" he asks "I need to do some girl talk face-to-face with her, it makes me more comfortable talking to people when their right in front of me then over the phone," I say grabbing my bag from the back seat "Text me when you want to be picked up," he says getting out of the car to hug me, "I will if people ask you about me, just say I am at a sleepover," I say "Bye," He nods "Bye," I say back walking up to the door and knocking hoping shes home.
Katrina opens the door with a big smile "Ash!" She says hugging me "too tight" I say trying to breath "oh, sorry" she apologizes "I literally saw you like 2 hours ago too," I say walking in and seeing Xepher and Cassie sitting on the couch, "Ashton's here," she yells up the stairs as I sit next to Xepher. I see 3 girls I've never met before, "Ash?" "Is that you?" A girl says "who are you?" I ask refusing her hug "I'm Madi from when you went to Canada for a vacation, we spent almost every second together for about a week until-" she informs me "I had to go back to my grandparents house in Wisconsin," I finish giving into the hug.
