Ash's POV
"Aahhh" I scream seeing a 40-something guy
"Oh, sorry, I thought this was a different car," he says, he's a nice guy I thought. The same thing happened and this time I grabbed the taser that I always have in my glove box. I look over and turning the taser on and see Colby smiling then quickly look scared,
"Sorry Colby, this guy did the same thing, he was really nice, and I thought you were a murderer for a second," I explain rolling the window down
"Ok good, I thought I was in a trap and was getting kidnapped," he says relived "Hold on, why are you not mad at me all the sudden?" He realized, I shrug.
"Let's get our sushi, our table is almost ready," I say getting out of the car and walk onto the sidewalk in front of the sushi place and ignoring the question because I don't know the answer either.
Colby's POV
We walk into the Sushi place and the place is crowded. This girl walks up behind the table and I feel like I've seen her before-oh no...it's her. Ash says "Hi, we reserved a table underneath the name Carmela"
The girl says "Oh yeah, your names right here miss-" her face went from a Nice waitress to a Hey, I remember you, although I don't remember her.
"Nice to see you here Colby." She says and I do a quick awkward smile.
"Uhm who are you?" I say hoping that I didn't forget her. I buried my face into the menu on the table as fast as I could.
"You seriously don't remember me?"
"No," I said confused "I don't."
"I'm Angie" she says trying to get something to click
"I don't remember an Angie, sorry," I said glancing over at Ash watching the conversation go on.
"I was the drum major in freshman band camp,"
"That was you?" I said wide-eyed
"Yeah I know" she said understanding "I look a little different,"
"Um..." I said not knowing what to say
"Uh so, what would you guys like to drink?" She says remembering she's at work
"I'd just take a lemonade," Ash says while Angie is writing her order down
"I'll...I'll just take a water" I said after she looks at me motioning me to tell her
"Mk, your drinks won't take long," She says walking away and towards the kitchen in the back.
"So..." Ash says looking down at her figiting thumbs
"Why did you want to bring me bere?" She ask to get out of this awkward situation
"I just wanted to see you mostly but I also wanted to talk about what happened in the past 2 weeks." I explain "We've had so much things happen to us I'm not even sure what we are anymore." She put on a facial expression that said 'I'm not sure either'
"Is that all?" She asks
"Yes" I said as Angie walks up with our drinks
"Would you guys like to order now?" She says and we give her our order and she walks away after we're done
"Ok listen," she says while I prepare myself for her answer "I still have feelings for you but, I think we should take a break from breaking each other's heart, it's so mentally and physically exhausting. I hope I didn't break your heart even more than it already is." She says and I understand
"I feel the same," I lie, I don't I just don't want to complain to my- I guess -ex. "So is it fine if we date other people? Or would that just break your heart more?" She says with a snarkyness tone in her voice while teasing me
"I think it's ok, but just one simple rule," I say hoping she won't slap me...again
"Ok, I'm good with rules" she says compl understanding
"We won't shove it in each other's faces about who we're going to date," I say hoping she's down for it,
"I don't see how that's not a rule in general," she says
"Well it is now," I say
A/N: sorry for the hiatus, I haven't been in the mood for writing and I have finals this month so you could say I'm stressed out of my mind. If you want you can suggest what would happen next.
