Part 15 - The Fight

I hit writer's block -_-

Colby's POV

I hear footsteps down the stairs, that must be Ash, I look over, it's Sam, I'm not sad it's Sam but I was hoping it was Ash, I miss her. "What's up brother?" He greeted

"Nothing, just thinking," I say

"About what?" He asked sitting down visibly attentive.

"About life," I say

"I going to get you some ice cream, you set up a movie," he says standing up and walking towards the kitchen.

"A movie?! I want to watch it!" I here Ash run down the stairs but pause once she saw me then starts walking again and sits on the love sack.

"Me too bruvas, and sista," Jake says running over from upstairs too,

"I was going to sit there," he says acting like a child, everyone laughs,

"Then sit right next to me," she says while patting right next to her

"Fine," he sighs acting like he doesn't care.

Ashtons POV

I feel Jake's hands around my torso and lightly pulling me close to his chest. "What movie should we watch?" Corey asks

"I don't know, maybe, 1922?" I respond hoping everyone was up for a horror movie, they were

"The movie was based off Steven King's book," (Official movie trailer above Warning: really scary)I say when the movie starts, I feel Jake's grip tighten when a jump scare happened

"It's not that scary," I jinxed myself, once I said a really loud noise and a scream appeared out of nowhere

After the movie

Jake's POV

The movie ends, wow that was a good movie, I look around and everyone is asleep, how could they be asleep after that? Someone was murdered in their sleep (not a spoiler, it's in the trailer) they must be really tired, Ash is in the fetal position facing away from me with my arms wrapped around, I try to sleep after that but it doesn't really work, so I sit there, my arms getting numb because Ash is on my arm, my eyes get heavy and I almost fall asleep until I hear a creek, probably just the house creaking, I fall asleep in less than two minutes.

After sleep

Ashton's POV

I wake up to myself buried in Jake's chest, we were the only ones in the room.

"Mornin' Ash," Jake says yawning

"Where are the others?" I ask rubbing my eyes and push my self up with my left arm to see where everyone is.

"I don't know but they aren't here," he says with a wink.

"You're a dirty boy," I said pointing my finger at him going up and down to scold him as a joke.

"I know," he says flipping his imaginary hair over his shoulder making me laugh

"We're home!" The roommates yell and see me and Jake face each other about 2 inches away from each other (I know, I know, a lot of Each other in that sentence).

"Hey, Ash, can we talk...in private," Colby says worried I might slap him

"Sure," I say with a blank face walking upstairs into his room.

"I'm going to explain Veronica texted me and said 'Hey boo'," I say showing her Veronicas' texts to me "I dumped her because she was 1. She cheated on me with like 7 different guys and 2. She only wanted me for the fame," I explain the worst relationship I've been in my whole life

"Why did you keep Victoria-" I say getting cut off by Colby

"Veronica," he says, I roll my eyes

"The same thing, why did you keep her from me?" I ask with concern and fiery in my eyes, I don't even think that's possible,

"I was scared you would go all rogue, but I was right about your ass," he said, my heart sunk, why would he say that? I finally had the urge to slap him, I did

"Out," he says with a tear running down his cheek

"You were being a bitch, so I slapped you!" I yell standing my ground by stomping my foot and crossing my arms " I'm not going!"

"Hey, is everything ok in here?" Summer said with a shocked face when seeing Colby's cheeks red from the slaps " I'll go now," she added quickly and shut the door

"Just leave!" His voice roared across the empty house, it scared me half to death, I ran out of the room, went to my room, grabbed my stuff, and ran down the stairs and out the door.

A couple of weeks later

Ashtons POV

"I haven't seen Colby in weeks and I am worried he might have given up on life, and I hope not, I really care for him but I also hate him at the same time," I say ranting to Summer at Kat's house, I'm staying there until I get my life together

"I know, he hasn't texted me, or came out of his room, the roommates are worried, he hasn't eaten anything at all and he never talks to anyone, you broke him," she says running her hand up and down my back for comfort. I get a message from Colby.

"It's Colby," I say opening my phone and seeing the message

(C = Colby A = Ashton)

C: I am sorry, I made you cry and the other stuff

A: I know I broke your heart into a million pieces but I accept your apology

A: I understand knowing a toxic girl

A couple of days later of texting back and forth

C: Hey, we should meet up soon

A: Yeah, we should, but on one condition

A: you have to go alone

C: deal

A: Where should we meet up?

C: The Hollywood sign?

A: yea sure

A: tomorrow at 7p?

C: it's a date 😉

A: ok

A: wrong emoji?

C: Yea, meant to send this one 🙃

A: see you tomorrow then

C: bye 👋

A: bye Colbean 👁️👄👁️

C: is that my nickname?

A: Yeah, what's mine?

C: Muffin

A: that's a really cute nickname, where did you find it?

C: I think you and muffins are cute

A: aw thanks

C: bye muffin, I gotta film a video with Sam

A: bye

This took me a surprising 2 days to write this, that's a new record!
