Brief update. Not going to say more than this about going to the counselors my first time because you will learn more as the story progresses. I don't want to spoil it.
We both walked into the small room. My mom sat in one chair, me in the other.
"Would either of you like a water or diet Pepsi?" the counselor, Kim, asked as she looked at my mother.
Mom politely replied, "No thanks," while shaking her head.
She then looked towards me.
"I'll take a diet Pepsi, please," I said shyly.
She left the room for a couple minutes, not even, but it seemed like forever! She reappeared and handed me the soda can.
I opened it and sipped it a little bit. After a couple sips, I placed it on the the little table in between our chairs.
"O.K., Lets get started. We have to go through a lot of stuff first....," She said while sitting down in he spiny chair, grabbing a clipboard and pen.
As she said it my stomach started to churn into a tight knot.
This might have been even less than a brief update, but some reason I felt the need to put this little chapter in it. Please share, comment, follow, and like, but mostly pass the story around it'll help me out a lot, this is my first story.
