The trio's trip to Rhodes was longer than either member had liked for it to be, but they eventually did arrive at the target location with no problems or distractions at all.

Arthur discussed the plan with Nora, saying how he and Sean had plans of holding a gun to the sheriff's face until they let Lemuel go. That is, if it wasn't Sheriff Gray on duty.
While she initially agreed for it to be a good plan, no matter the simplicity, Gray would have better fun in shooting Trelawny instead. That was why she would go in, convince him to let her friend go and then watch the men as they ride off together for freedom.

They sat outside the sherrif's office for a little while, Nora adjusting her jacket and shirt so it sat properly on her torso before entering the building behind her.

"Morning, sheriff." She greeted, a mock cheerful tone to her voice.

"Your brother's ain't been in town as of late so I can guarantee that you have no business here." Nora chuckled, sitting in a chair opposite the Gray. He watched her suspiciously, a little intimidated by the harsh glare she passed his way.

"No no. I'm here about my friend you've gotten locked up. Please tell me what crime a simple, low-life magician could commit? Unless magic is a crime now."

"Miss Morgan, this man was caught after robbing a wagon."

"Did you see him rob the wagon?"

"No.. but."

"Well then tell me. Judging by his attire, why would this man have a need for robbing a stagecoach? Better yet, how did you know this man was responsible? He could've just been some innocent bystander. I know him well enough to say that he was wrongly taken in." It wasn't a convincing conversation, but it did get the other's gears turning in his head. While he was confused the female had pushed over a money clip. Bribery being the next step in her plan.

Sheriff Gray looked over at the money, contemplating his actions before he removed the bribe from the table. Nora smiled, watching him as he approached Trelawny's cell with a look of annoyance in his eye. He unlocked the jail and pushed Trelawny out, Nora following the male into the outside. She called a quick 'thank you' to the sheriff before she was entirely out in the open.

"Got him for you boys." She sang, walking up to the other's with a smile. Arthur passed a smile to her, extending a hand to help her onto his horse once more.

"Thank you, allow me to take you home Miss." Arthur's offer was more an instruction but there was a kindness in his eyes she couldn't refuse and so she firmly gripped onto his arm to hoist herself up onto the horse.

"Just take me to Valentine, still got some things I need to do there. That is, if you do not mind, sir." Arthur nodded, a slight click of his tongue before the horse jerked forward as she began to move towards the town they were in before.

"Dutch'll be thrilled that you helped. How did you convince him to let him go anyway?"

"Well, Trelawny doesn't exactly look the robbing type and with the right amount of money you can persuade anyone to let a friend out of jail."

Arthur shook his head with a small chuckle, keeping a gentle pace as they headed for Nora's next destination. She held on firmly, careful not to fall off the animal which would end in embarrassment for her no doubt.

"The Van Der Linde gang. Say, doesn't Javier Escuella run with you boys?" She questioned, pleasantly smiling at the gentleman before her although he could not see it. Arthur was quiet for a little longer before slowly nodding in answer.

"You know Javier?"

"Yes. We met a while back, around the time you boys were in Blackwater. With the boat." Arthur was quiet now, his lips pressed into a thin line. Worried, she cleared her throat to break the silence before muttering an apology to the male.

"No need to apologise. Should have figured you'd know about that."

"Yeah, you boys disappeared for a while. Thought you left this side of the country, and here you are."

"Got stuck up in Colter for a while, met a widow around there. Sadie Adler, poor soul."

"Widow?"

"Mhm, her husband was shot by O'Driscoll's."

Nora was silent, was silent for the rest of the journey to Valentine. The pair stopped just outside of the general storw when they arrived, that was when Arthur turned towards her with concern across his face.

"I knew Jake and Sadie. Nice people, Sadie a little rough but she had good intentions. S'pose that happens when people tried to rob from you all the time." She frowned, looking up at the man in front of her. She contemplated her next choice of words, eyes narrowing as she looked at the other.

"Can I see her? Just, for old time's sake or are you those criminals who can't trust passerby's?" It was more a joke but the tone in her voice held a hint of sarcasm, which wasn't unusual for the shocking news she recieved.

Arthur's brows furrowed, mounting his horse in silence before looking down at the female before him.

"Buy what you need, I'll speak to Dutch." The simple interaction was satisfactory enough for Nora, nodding at the other as he rode away. She entered the shop with the shopping list Maggie had provided earlier, smiling at the owner as she asked for the usual order.

Having been there often, he knew exactly what she needed and where they were and so that made shopping a little easier for her and quicker.

She waved goodbye, her items were to be delivered to the shack where her brother's would collect them. Unfortunately, she would have to wait in the town a little while longer if she wanted an answer from Arthur Morgan, but she was a patient woman and so waiting was something she capable of doing.
