The lovely and gentle breeze was kissing my soft yet delicate skin. The weather's really nice today. The sun's resplendency was enough to give us an adequate amount of light, but not enough to burn us out alive. My nose couldn't escape from the splendid scent of flowers surrounding us.

As I strut in my blue gown, the soles of my doll shoes press against the newly trimmed grass. I heard the applause from our guests. I glanced at them and smiled sweetly. Our huge garden is filled with people- relatives and some business partners gathered today to celebrate my 7th birthday.

Napakaganda ng pagkaka-arrange ng mga tables at chairs sa garden. Ang bawat lamesa ay may magkakapare-parehong flower arrangement sa gitna.

In the middle of our garden, an arch decorated with flowers can be seen. Doon nakalagay ang upuang nakareserba para sa birthday girl, para sa akin. My small footsteps took me a bit longer to reach my wonderfully customized chair. Hindi matanggal tanggal ang ngiti sa aking labi kahit natapos na ang opening ceremony at lahat ng tao'y nakapila na para sa buffet.

I couldn't care less about the food. I gawked at the table beside me, it's the table for gifts. Napakadaming regalo ang nakapatong dito and I'm itching to open every single one of them.

Naging casual na ang party. The people were now free to roam around the garden and talk to other guests. Pupuntahan ko na sana ang table at pasikretong bubuksan ang ilang mga regalo nang tawagin ako ng aking mga magulang.

My parents brought me to the table of some relatives, they all greeted me a happy birthday.

"Iyan na ba si Euphoria? The last time I saw her she was just a baby! Ang laki na niya!" One of my titas exclaimed.

"Napakagandang bata. Naku, Elena, Alexander, ingatan niyo to! Mukhang magiging ligawin," A relative told my parents.

I scoffed secretly. I don't even like anyone from my school. I haven't met any guy who could sweep me off my feet. Panget silang lahat at wala man lang ni isang crush-worthy.

Nang matapos na kaming makipagbatian sa ilang mga kamag-anak, sinalubong namin ang isang pamilya na parang kadarating lamang.

Wow, they're so late. Buti at umattend pa sila dito, nahiya pa sila. I looked at the family, they look classy and confident, I'll give them that. Para namang torre ang mag-asawa sa kanilang katangkaran. They're like a model couple. They're not familiar so I'm guessing they're our new business partner?

My eyes landed on the shy girl hiding behind her mother.

She looks uncomfortable and uneasy, like someone who doesn't want to be here. When our eyes met, I waved and gave her a comforting smile. Mas lalo niya lamang siniksik ang sarili sa kaniyang ina.

This girl! Hindi naman ako nakakatakot ah! My mother made sure that I would not look like a clown with my make up. Anong problema niya?

"Elena, Alexander, we're really sorry we're late. Kadarating lang namin galing US and dito na agad kami dumiretso," The mother explained.

My mom looked at them with a smile plastered on her face. While my dad looks irritated like he doesn't want to see them. My two other siblings, Panyong and Pinyang eyed the newly arrived family with curiosity.

"Who are they, Ate P-powling?" tanong nang apat na taong gulang si Panyong. Hindi mabigkas ang letrang 'R'.

"I don't know, Panyong," sagot ko at pinangigilan ang chubby cheeks nito. Since he's the bunso, lagi kaming nanggigigil sa kacute-an niya.

"Ouchie, shhtop it Ate!"

Natawa na lamang ako sa kapatid ko.

"Nasaan na ba si Heathcliffe?" tanong nung babae sa asawa. Pare-pareho kaming napalingon sa lalaking may buhat buhat ng napakalaking regalo. Natakpan na ng regalo ang mukha niya at tanging ang legs at paa lamang ang nakikita sakaniya. The guy was so tall, with his height, I'm guessing he's in his 20s already? Or not?
