Another picture of sexy Caleb on the side!! :)
Caleb's POV
I immediately run over to Rayne. He's unconscious and writhing painfully on the cold ground of the hallway floor. The bell rings and people immediately begin to fill the hallways chattering loudly as usual. But as soon as people realize what's going on they begin to form a circle around Rayne's convulsing body. Shocked cries and worried whispers can be heard from the forming crowd. Suddenly Amber and Garrett break through the circle. Amber is screaming and Garrett is staring in terror attempting to hold Amber back. My heart is racing and I'm scared out of my mind for him. I hold his body and begin screaming for help.
"Someone call 911!"
His body continues to shake like mini earthquakes are erupting inside of him. I just continue to hold him close trying to snuff the shakes out. I just want them to stop. Just then I feel something sticky on my hand. I pull my hand away from his head to see that my palm is covered in blood. I stare at my now red palm in horror.
He must've hit his head hard when he fell. I continue to yell for help. Eventually the nurse comes and sits at Rayne's feet.
"Please help him. Please do something. He won't stop shaking and he's bleeding." I'm clearly panicking. I just want Rayne to be okay.
The nurse gives me a sympathetic but worried look.
"I've already called 911 but he's having a seizure and there's nothing we can do about it right now. We just have to wait until it stops."
The minutes seem to drag like hours. I'm so fucking scared. His blood is all over my hand and I'm praying that Rayne is going to be okay. I just continue to hold him tightly for several more minutes until Rayne's body finally stills.
"The ambulance is here, continue to hold him still like that while I direct the paramedics this way."
There was no need for her to tell me that. I hold Rayne's still unconcious body tightly against my chest, cradling his head gently applying pressure to try to get the bleeding to stop. I listen to him take faint shallow breaths simply glad that he's still alive.
Suddenly three paramedics dressed in black uniforms come and take Rayne from me. I hesitate for a second not ready to let him be taken away. But I know that they are there to help him. They lift his body onto a gurney and strap him in. Everyone in the hallway stares as they wheel him outside into the waiting ambulance.
The time that at first seemed to be moving slowly goes back to normal and I turn back to the crowd of people. Amber has her head in her hands and she's crying while Garrett is patting her back soothingly. Just then Lindsay walks makes her way through the crowd.
"What the hell just happened to him?" She demands.
"I don't know, he just fell down and started shaking." I try to explain. I'm so out of it and so worried about Rayne I'm not in the mood to argue with Lindsay at the moment.
"Well if he didn't have brain damage before he definitely does now." She says obnoxiously.
Amber lifts her head up from her hands. Her eyes are filled with anger.
"You insensitive bitch!" She screams. Amber looks as if she's about to lunge at her and punch Lindsay straight in the face. If she did I wouldn't stop her.
Lindsay takes a step away from Amber. She's obviously not stupid enough to talk crap about Rayne while standing close to her.
"Caleb, we need to talk." Lindsay says changing the subject.
