Chapter 29

"What", I almost yelled.

This is ridiculous. The terms and conditions he wrote on the paper absolutely made no sense. He is actually encouraging bully. The condition says

If Miss Veronica Brown does not accept her mistake and apologize to Mr Peter Harvey than she has to accept the following conditions if she wanted to participate in the carnival.

   1) She will have no choice but has to share her room with Miss Christina Ravens without any hesitation or complaint.

 2) She will not hesitate to anything whichever Miss Ravens ask her to do. In simple words, she has to serve the needs of Miss Ravens unless she makes an apology to Mr Peter Harvey

 3) She will not join the Science Section unless she makes an apology. Only she can help the following students with their project.

I was amazed by his words. Is he for real? He knows that I will never apologize for something I didn't do. 

"Mr Oscar. You were not there and obviously you don't know what exactly happened over there.", I tried to stay calm but I was well aware of his response but still, there was some hope left inside me.

"I believe in my students. One of them has witnessed yesterday's fight. And also I know you", he simply said. "Well then you're not a good Principal then", I stated and left the cabin banging the door close behind me.

Jasper must have waited for me as he flinched as I banged the door. "Wait. What happen?", he said to me while trying to match my fast pace. "Nothing. As usual", I was mad at the student who made this statement as I know who it could be.

"Wait. Vikky. Where the hell are you going?", Jasper tried to calm me down but I was not in a mood of that. When he saw that wasn't helping me to calm down, he just pulled me close to him.

"Vikky. Please. Tell me what did he say? You're already in a messy situation. Don't make it worse. Don't do anything stupid", he said softly. In a shaky voice, I said, "Am I making this situation worse? This situation is already a mess and there are plenty of people out there to make it much difficult for me. I don't need to do anything extra for it".

He sighs at me.  I narrated the whole incident to him and he gave a sad look. "Why  "That's too bad Vikky", I nodded at his remark. "But I think you should tell everything to Mr Oscar about the incident", he suggested. I wish I could tell him but the problem is he's never gonna believe me. "I don't understand, who could've told Mr Oscar about the incident. I don't think it will be Peter", I muttered. "Why? Vikky, did you suspect someone else? If it is not Peter then who else? I swear whoever it is, I'm gonna kill him", Jasper said between teeth. Yes, it could be Peter but I don't think he will do this alone.

Suddenly I remember those blue eyes.

I moved my paced as fast as I could and I could hear Jasper keep calling for me.

Tristan's POV

Christina was busy with Anna as they were taking some snaps. She was looking pretty as usual but something that was still bothering. Suddenly I don't what came over me and called her, "Chris...", softly I called her name. She didn't respond to me as she was busy showing Anna something on her mobile.

Ethan noticed me and whispered, "Chris is just as crazy about snaps as you're about her", I lightly chuckled at his words. I don't like it when she ignores me. In fact, I hate it when someone who is important to me ignores me.

"Vikky! Vikky stop!", I heard Jass yelling and running behind that familiar small figure.

She banged over the food counter. "Where's he?", she yelled. The head of the counter came in front of her like a giant but her angry expression didn't change at all. She has guts, even though she's so small compared to him, she's brave enough to raise her voice of her own.

"Who?", he asked in a deep voice. "She's such a drama Queen", a sweet voice interrupts me. It was from Chris. She's right. Veronica can grab anyone's attention. But why's she shouting? About whom she's talking about?

By the time I saw Peter came out from inside, making his way to Veronica. "Vikky...", he said softly. "It's Veronica. For you!", she was clearly mad and now I know why. Before Vikky could explode, Peter said, "I'm very sorry about yesterday but I just wanted to check your hand". His words confused me. "What do you mean?", Jasper question.

"Yesterday Vikk-", he stopped in the midway. "I mean Veronica got injured", he said in a low voice. I was surprised to hear this. "What? Where? when?", Jasper enquired.  "Who told you this?", Veronica was almost losing her temper when he said, "I saw your hand".

Anyone could tell from Jasper's surprised look that he was impressed by him and that wasn't the case with Veronica.

The whole hall was watching them intently and when Veronica takes a look around herself, clearly she was embarrassed about her behaviour. As she was about to leave, she was about to hit some guy when Peter step in front of her. The juice in that guy's hand slipped and spillover Peter's Plastered hand.

"Woo, watch out man!", the guy screamed. "I'm sorry", Peter quickly apologized to him and get back to his work and Veronica was to say something but decided to leave too.

Veronica's POV:

I was finally stopped by Jasper. He was breathing heavily. "Y- You...", he started coughing afterwards. "You... walk very fast!". Again he started coughing, I tried to calm him down. "What happened?", a very soft voice interrupted us. Both of us turn our heads and found Katherine standing some feet away from us.

She had my blue jacket in her one hand and her other stuff on the other. She had a small face with freckles on her face. She was making her way towards us. "Is everything okay?", she asked. I hesitated to tell her and somehow she sensed it and said, "It's quite alright if you aren't comfortable. It's just...", she showed us my jacket and said, "I just wanted to say thank you and also wanted to return your jacket".

She handed me my jacket and was about to leave when she said, "You know. You're the most rebellious person I've ever seen and the whole school is jealous of you because of that", she passed me a small smile and then just left.

Her words hit me differently. "What does she mean by that?", Jasper questioned. It was just three days left and I need to decide. "Vikky. We only have three days left for the carnival, why don't you just apologize to Peter?", Jasper advises me. "I won't, but I will make sure that he explains everything to Mr Oscar", the confidence in my tone made Jasper a bit surprised but he still nodded at my decision.

Quickly I ran back to the cafeteria and searches for Peter. He was doing his job when he saw me. The look on my face made Peter realize what he needs to do and he nodded.
