"This forest is heavy as heck" Hiyama stated.
"Gahhh! There's bugs everywhere. WHAT EVEN IS THIS BUG?" Sora screamed

Ray shook his head. Right now they were walking deep into the monster forest. Where unique creatures and scary monsters appearing out of nowhere. They're mission, finding the time stone. So they could defeat the monster from another world.

"Come on guys. We're almost there. The leader might be happy to see the stone clasped into our hands" Hikari stated breaking the havoc, cheering the group with a smile. Arithia kept hugging his arms while walking.

The group insists almost everyone including Hiyama, Lolita, Hikari, Arithia, Sora, Aiwa and Ray himself.

They continued to walk with no sound whatsoever. Only their brave footsteps could be heard. Ray is currently walking behind the whole gang, staring into his sword device, not talking from the start.

Aiwa looked behind to see Ray staring awkwardly at his arm, leaving her completely clueless to know what is happening in the young soldier's mind.

After a painful of walking, they finally arrived at a big temple. Hikari pulled out the stone map, only to see it flashing brightly, signaling that the stone is here.

The squad seperated into pairs.
So, here it is:
1) Hikari, Arithia
2)Hiyama, Lolita
3)Ray, Aiwa, Sora

Sora doesn't have a pair, so she chose to be with his sister figure, Aiwa, instead.

Ray lead in the way by taking the right side. The two girls followed him.

As they went deep into the temple, creepy sounds could be heard. They were also several weird writings and sketching could be seen on the wall.
Aiwa scanned the sketches in awe.

"Wow, this is incredible. The story of the ancient stone and its power is beyond this sketching. I wonder what we could find in this temple-" her voice shuts as Ray held his hand, signaling the girls to silence for a moment.

"Pull out your weapons,"
"Wait, wha-"
"Just do it," Ray exclaimed. Aiwa and Sora pulled out their sword, ready to face the unknown danger. While Ray   reloaded his gun, thus aiming it in front.

The squad moved forward slowly. They placed themselves on the wall when they reached the farside.

Ray leaned his head to inspect, only to reveal a group of thugs armed with high calibre rifle patrolling around their route. The most shocking thing is went he found a boy with cat-ears locked up in cage beside the big guy.

"How many of them?" Aiwa asked him in surprised. Ray didn't look back and utters. "20. It looks like they were holding a kid as a hostage"

Sora's eyes went wide. "20, that's a lot! They could be more after we killed them. We should get the others- "

"No need. They're dealing the same problem as us. A gang like this will most likely make a group to surround the whole place," Ray countered.

He looked to the girls with a plan on his mind.

"AMBUSH!"
"WEAPONS FREE!"
But the guards had no chance. The group burst out of their hiding spot attacking the thugs. Sora sliced 5 man into pieces. Aiwa managed to stabbed 4, since she almost got it by an armored thug, only to be completely destroyed by Ray's gun.

Ray quickly shot every guy in sight. He quickly extends his dual sword when he ran out of bullets, stabbing the last 3 man in the chest without mercy.

The massacre ended. Leaving the place with dead thugs lying lifelessly on the ground. Ray retracts back his blade. Sora and Aiwa looked at him in fear. His jacket covered in blood.

Ray wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. He walked to the cage that contains the unique human kid. He reloaded another mag and shot the lock three times, loosing the lock.

Sora and Aiwa surrounds the kid. Only to stare at him in awe.

"What a cutie!" Aiwa exclaimed with hearts in her eyes. The kid stiffened up and moved back, fearing the bloody man in front of him.

Ray knew it. The kid must've been scared by his appearance. He quickly brushed some of the blood and held his arms out for the kid to get to him closer.

He smiled. "Come on kid, I'm not gonna hurt you," Aiwa and Sora gasped. They never saw Ray giving out smiles. The group did almost everything to get the soldier to smile, but it never works. But here it is, Ray smiling widely in front of them.

The kid finally braved himself to get closer to him. After he is finally in his arms. He spoked. "It's you. From my dream. We've met before right?" He looked into Ray's eyes.

His mind clicked. Now did he mention it. He remember seeing the kid, but doesn't remember his name.

Suddenly, the kid fell asleep in his arms. The group looked in awe, as the cat like kid slept in Ray's embrace peacefully.

Ray's device rang.

"Yeah"

"Few... thank God you guys are ok. We stumbled upon some thugs, and I heard a gunshot and we thought that- "

"No we're okay. They couldn't lay a hand on us. We've found a kid that has cat ears. He must've been kidnapped by looking at his clothes,"

"A kid? That's weird. But we still didn't find the time stone," Hikari sighed in annoyance.

Ray took a glance on the kid's arm, to see his wearing a glove with a bright stone.

"Don't worry, I know where the stone is,"

"But for now, we meet outside. Place a camp and I will tell you everything," Ray shuts down the telecom.
