The Truth (Part 1)

The commander's eyes went wide. He tries to reached out to his comrades that are about to murder their own. 

"Hikari stop! There's something you have to know about him-,"

"I don't need any explanation!" he shouted across the arena. His sword parried by Ray's own. The others surrounded the two to ambush the demon.

The commander looked at them with guilt and shame in his eyes. Worried for Ray as they finally knew the truth. Where it's either him, or them. 

Hikari swung back his sword and went behind him by warping beside him. Thus casted a magic skill to lower his guard, only to be block by Ray's own dark magic. He clicked his tongue before decided to side stepped Hiyama's blade that almost chopped his head. Lolita got the upper hand by flinging his shield to the demon causing a small impact to his body. Ray shifted to his right to deliver a kick to Arithia but she managed to block it with her sword. 

Seeing the intense in the battle, his smirk grew wider. He laughed. 

"Finally, this is what I've wanted all along. A strong opponent. Let's see what can I do with this body," he threw a small dagger to Hiyama only to missed only 1 cm to his right. Hiyama grinned back.

"Really? A toddler could throw more accurate than you-" but Ray's already gone.

SWIFT

"I wasn't aiming for you," 

"Dammit!"

He reappeared behind Hiyama and punched him in the gut. At the last minute, Hiyama managed to counter it with his own fist, but that really did hurt his arm as the dark metal were too strong for the swordsman. The others knew it would be futile to one on one with the demon. 

"Wall of Faith!" 

Suddenly, a barrier appeared and separates them from fighting. The commander used his remaining energy to block their attacks. 

"Listen!  Ray was controlled when you first fought him. That is not him. He's been controlled by Ragsherum. You have to listen to what me and Hamon are about to say," he pleaded to his platoon. He can't have them killed Ray. What is he going to say to Kaid when they bought a corpse of his alliance to him. That would bring chaos to both the Delta Forces and Astera!

"Hehehehe.....hahahahaha!!" 

"What's so funny now huh?"

The others just glared at the now laughing demon. He shook his head looking at them before announcing another chaos.

"You really are an idiot old man. Shouldn't you all look at his background for a moment before deciding to conclusion?" he smirked at the immortalis. Aiwa decided to butt in. She too, also doesn't want the others to fight Ray.

"We are his friends. Of course we knew him!"

"Ara ara missy, did you know everything? You seem so confident. How about you tell me about his feelings? His reasons? His family? His favourites? Can you?" the demon asked in a mocking manner. The others are resisting their urge to lounged when they thought back about the commander's words. But not for long, when they knew....

"If you really do know him, why didn't you stop him from accepting me!"

FLASHBACK ( 1 month after defeating the other world)

The group that consists of Ray, Aiwa, Arithia, Sora, Hikari, Lolita and Hiyama are walking through the mountains. The commander tasked them to destroy a portal and saving a village near their location. He said that a raid is about to happen and they'll need backup to save the village. Right now, their being tasked to find the portal.
