The group froze at their spot. Shocked by the new revelation. Ragsherum smirked proudly. 

It makes sense now. 

His attitude.

His scars.

He kept enduring everything to himself. Never he thought himself to share his problem. Heck even Sora and Lolita always hung out with him to sometimes telling their problems to Ray. He's the one that has been helping them.

And now here they are, trying to kill him. 

"You humans sure sure a pitiful. Even we demons respect each other and help each other. But you? You clash at one another. Not even bothering to let them explain themselves or trying to make peace! All you care are power, money and fame!" Ragsherum shouted.

His words stabbed through their hearts. Total shame as they were the ones fighting evil, gets scolded by the demon himself. Suddenly, Sora sprung to her feet while gripping her weapon.

"If so, then why are you helping Ray? Don't you hate humanity? Why didn't you kill him the moment you had the chance!"

"It's because I care for the kid!"

The group were taken back by his statement. Never and ever a demon cares for human. Ragsherum stares at them with flaming anger.

"The moment I saw this kid, I originally do want to kill him right at the spot. Oh, the moment was perfect. Out positioned, vulnarable, weak and hopeless. Even he let himself to let me take control of him,"

"But after seeing his heart and soul, I knew I could control him. Take control of him," he looked back at Ray's friends. Their eyes shows regret and sorrow. But only one stands out of all of them.

Aiwa

She left Ray to the sorcerer and went to everyone's side. She too sheath her own blade out of its place. She took a fighting stance while encouraging her teammated.

"This isn't like all of you. Where is your spirit?"

The others lifted their heads.

"Didn't we promise, no matter how hard the obstacle is, we will overcome it together. Even if our teammates backed us out, we will still be friends till the end!"

"And that includes you Ragsherum. No. You are with us..."

"Ray Asaki!"

Ragsherum held his head in pain as Ray finally managed to break through Ragsherum's control. Knowing their spirit, he grinned. He pulled out his blade, preparing to strike.

"Now this is something. If you really want this kid so bad then....." 

He launched himself to the group.

"Then face me! Show me your true power of hope and bonds of friendship!"

"HAAA!!" everyone excluding Ariel, charged forward to Ragsherum. 

Hikari stabbed Ragsherum in the chest but he somehow manage to avoid it. 

"Elemental Blade!" Hiyama swings his sword forward, creating a powerful slash hitting Raghserum's rib. Thankfully, the armor is too sturdy to be penetrated.

Lolita rushed forward preparing her own strike, just as she was about land her blow, Ragsherum swung his own blade torwards the Loli, but it turns out to be an illusion. 

"Dang it!" 

She reappeared behind Ragsherum and slashed him.He grunted as the blade touched his armor. He stood up on one knee while regaining his breath. His power weakens as Ray is trying to break free from Ragsherum's control.
