"Owwww!" I cried, holding my left knee, curled into a tight ball. "I can't do it, I don't wanna do it."

Quincy comes running over and swoops me into his arms, and sits me down on his lap. I am a hiccuping mess, but Quincy continues to soothingly rubbing my back. "Hey hey hey, you're okay little one." he reassures me, but I nod my head no.

"No, I can't do it! I don't wanna..." I whined while elephant size tears rolled down my face.

He nodded his head no and explained, "If you give up then you'll never be able to do it."

My breathing was ragged as I continued to protest. "NO, the bike hurt me." I hollered and locked me in an embrace. "It really hurt me Qwacy!"

"I promise, I will never ever let anything hurt you again." Quincy promised, and lifted me off his lap. "Here, try this."

He gave me his bike, but it was so much bigger than me and it didn't have training wheels. "No, it's too big! And there are no training wales." I made my point and he nodded his head no.

"Come on, I'll help you. I'm right here to catch you if you fall."

"You promise?" I asked him with wide puppy dog eyes.

He smirked at me and said, "Always."

------------------------------------------------------------------

I was looking in the mirror, staring at myself with some form confusion. I don't know how to feel. All at once, I feel like I'm going to a funeral and a birthday party.

It feels so foreign to me, going to my brother's graduation should feel good. But all I feel is sadness. Like a cloud raining over my head. However, I smile in the mirror, making a good poker face.

I am going to make myself feel happy for Quincy. Even though, my heart wants to stop beating because he's leaving tomorrow.

I hear knocks at my door and I look at my door through my mirror. "Come in," I voiced out and it was Xander. I smiled and he approached me, standing behind me.

He wrapped his arms around my shoulders, and hugged me tightly. "How, I missed you Serena." he whispered in my ear. I laughed and held onto his arms.

"It hasn't been that long." I made my point, nodding my head. "Only like a couple of months."

He let go and stated, "That's long enough to miss you."

I huffed as he let go and looked at me through the mirror. "You look pretty." he complimented me with a smile on his face.

I smiled not really knowing what to say. I don't feel pretty today. I feel like everyone can see how miserable am I. "You look pretty good too!" I cheered, giving myself fake energy.
