Chapter 37

~Foxy's POV~

I watched as Mangle helped save the security guard from Freddy.

I can't believe she would help him.

I felt hurt that Mangle would save him, regardless that he insulted the both of us.

I went and talked to Mangle on her way back to Kids Cove.

"Hey, why did you help him?"

"What do you mean?"

"Don't play dumb with me. I saw you. Why? He insulted both of us."

"I felt bad that I accidentally betrayed him. I'm sorry. I had to make it up to him."

"Well, I'm still going to make him pay, and you're not going to stop me."

Mangle made an evil smile.

"Go ahead. I won't help, but I won't stop you either."

I went back to my supply closet.

Wow, she's weird. Whoever else is friends with her better be normal.

I sat there in a dark corner. Well, then again, they're all dark corners.

Freddy walked over to me.

"What happened with that security guard?"

"Mangle saved him."

"That scrap metal? Of course your replacement would do this. I'm going to kill her."

"Freddy, no."

"Yes."

"You don't understand. She doesn't have many friends, and that guy was one of them."

"Oh just like you. Whining about your loneliness."

"Look who's talking."

Freddy slapped me. I raised my hook up to his neck. Chica stood up and stopped me from removing Freddy's head.

"Hey, we went over this. Stop fighting."

We stopped and I went back to my corner.

I heard something whisper next to me. It sounded like a raspy voice.

"Foxy, there's something you should know."

I turned my head and saw Bonnie next to me.

"Bonnie? You can talk?" I whispered.

"Yes. I've been able to talk. I just...didn't want to."

"What did you want to tell me?"

"Freddy's gonna kill me if he finds out I told you. Maddie has come here looking for you."

"She has?" I asked with excitement.

"Yeah, she's been trying to find you. I've seen her. She's also been hanging out with Mangle."

I smiled. I'm glad that if Mangle gets a friend, it's Maddie.

"Great."

"By the way, don't tell Freddy I'm active."

"Why not?"

"Just...don't."

Bonnie went silent. It almost seemed as if he was deactivated.

I can finally see Maddie again. But wait, why did Bonnie help me? And why doesn't he want Freddy to find out about him?"
