~Bonnie's POV~

I sat in my little secret corner that I had found one day. I didn't know where I was. I didn't know who I was anymore.

What happened? To everything? To me?

All I remembered was watching some man jumping into a bunny suit and dying.

Kind of like what happened to me...

I shook my head and balled my hands into fists.

He was the one who caused it in the first place. He deserved to die.

I began to cry out of nowhere.

None of this would have happened if I had just listened to my mother...

I lied down on the ground and let the thoughts run through my head.

I could see the memory clearly.

~Flashback~

"But mom, I wanna go play with Bonnie!" I yelled to my mom.

"Sweetie, you can go play tomorrow. Right now, we have to go home."

"Fine."

She took my hand and walked me over to the car.

After we got home, I went to my room and started to play with my little Bonnie plushie.

I overheard my parents talking in the other room.

"She keeps spending time with that weird rabbit thing. I'm starting to get worried."

"It's just a kid thing."

"I guess so, but she doesn't have any real friends. What if she never has any friends?"

"She will one day. For now, just let her enjoy that rabbit."

"I don't know...maybe we should keep her away..."

Before I could hear anything else, I bolted for the door.

No. I can't leave Bonnie. I love him.

I walked out of the door and ran to the luckily nearby pizzeria.

"Bonnie!" I yelled when I saw him at the stage.

I started to sing and dance with him. He gave me a hug.

I rested my head on his soft arms.

You are my best friend, Bonnie. Never let me go.

A little while later, a man came up to me.

"Hey, I have something to show you." He said while straightening out his purple shirt.

~Back to normal time~

I refused to think about what happened next. But I could still feel the stabbing of the knife on my skin.

It made me cry harder.

Is this how the rest of my life will be? Crying in the corner of the room?

I looked up to find a giant rabbit standing above me.

"Who are you?" I asked with hostility, pretending that he hadn't just seen me crying.

"It doesn't matter who I am." He said with a calmer voice than I had expected.

He looked like a terrifying demon rabbit.

"Bonnie, I have something for you."

"How do you know who I am?"

"I was sent here by your friends. I'm here to save you."

I stopped and stared at him. What did he mean by that?

"What are you talking about?"

"I know you've wanted to be free ever since you were killed. You wanted to escape. Now, I'll finally let you."

I decided that I would trust him. After all, what could I lose?

"Fine. What do you have to do?"

He handed me a large yellow cake with pink frosting.

"That's it?"

"Yep. Just eat it and come with me."

I started to eat it. It tasted like...happiness. Hope. Like I had a chance.

Was this cake drugged?

"By the way, I have a question." He said.

"What is it?"

"You're a girl. Bonnie's a boy. You possessed Bonnie. So, what-"

"Shut up while you still can. I don't need people to ask that question again."

I kept eating my cake and finally realized what was happening.

Everything I ever wanted is happening. My hopes and dreams...can finally come true...
