~BB's POV~
I had stayed pretty quiet since the rabbit attacked us. Luckily, I had somehow managed to survive.
Something felt...different, though. Something I didn't understand.
I heard the security guard yell a little bit.
I might as well have some fun with him. Something to bring me joy through my wall of pain.
I looked straight at the camera. I had heard that Bonnie used to do that sometimes.
It wasn't enough, though. I wanted more.
I ran quickly to the office, quicker than I ever thought I could.
I knew exactly what I wanted.
I want to kill him. I want to feel that joy that the others do. And I will...
I stood in front of the security guard. He seemed familiar.
I jumped out at his face, causing him to scream.
I waited for the satisfaction, but it never came. I was suddenly teleported back to where I started.
What? Why can't I kill him?
I went to go try again, when I child whispered to me.
Come with me, young one. I have something to show you...
I walked over to where I heard the voice. It turned out to be a little girl that looked similar to me.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"My name is JJ. I used to be just like you."
"What do you mean? And what do you want from me?"
She gestured me to follow her. We stopped when we came up to a poster. It looked like a picture of me.
JJ put her hand on the poster.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
As if on cue, a large part of the wall split open, revealing a bright blue glowing world.
"Come with me." She grabbed my hand and pulled me in.
I felt like I was falling. I couldn't tell if it would ever end. JJ had disappeared.
I reached the ground, feeling no pain.
"Hello?" I called out.
I walked around trying to find a way out.
After a while, I found JJ in a dark place. She looked different. She was a grayish color, and tear streaks came from her eyes.
"JJ, what's going on?"
"Don't be scared, BB. You are among friends. Among your people."
Hundreds of little boys that looked like me came out from the shadows. They were also gray and tear-stained.
"What do you mean?"
"We are the Balloon Children. We all used to be just like you. Then, we were destroyed. Soon, you will be. You will join us."
I backed away slowly in fear.
"No. Not yet. I'm not ready."
"We know you aren't. There's still something you have to do."
"What is it?"
"You will know in time, young one. Until then, we'll be waiting..."
The children faded away and the real world came back to me.
What does she mean? What else do I have to do?
