The whole team was buzzing with nerves as we walked into the huge gym. This was the week of Preliminaries for nationals. Today we played three games and tomorrow we played two, it had been about a two-three hour drive from a bus up here and we were staying in a hotel near by. I hooked my arm into Oikawa's and held on. We never made anything official but everyone else always had assumed we were dating. " Its going to be ok. " He smiled down at me and patted my head with his other hand. We were warming up on a near by court when the team we were playing finally entered. " holy crap that guys huge!" I pointed over to a very tall guy with whiteish gray hair. " Dont point thats rude" Iwaizumi hit the back of my head and i glared at him. 

After around ten minutes of warming up the game finally started. Being our captain and the best server we put Oikawa to serve first. He did his amazing jump serve and scored us a point. The team looked stunned for a second at how awesome he was. " GO OIKAWA!!" You heard some annoying girls from your school yell at him. You growled a bit and continued with the game.

After the first two sets it was half time. I was walking out of the gym with a towel around my neck and my water in hand, when i finally go outside all i saw were a pair of legs blocking the way. I craned my neck up to look at him. " UWAH YOUR A GIANT!" I fell backwards onto my butt. He did not find it amusing in fact he crouched down to meet you sitting form and stared you in the eyes. " Arent you supposed to be on the girls side?" I laughed a bit, it was common that i got this. " Ah no actually i play for the boys team." I smiled at him and stood up grabbing my water and chugging it. " They let a puny little girl play for the boys team?" He was really getting on my nerves. " Im actually pretty good compared to most people." a small tik appeared on my forehead as i was trying my hardest to be nice. " How high can you jump little girl?" " Please dont call me that, and i dont know i havent really checked. Throw a ball as high as you can ill see if i can hit it." He tossed the ball that was in his arm all the way up. I ran and jumped just barely reaching over his head and over him. I grabbed the ball mid air and landed softly on the ground. I stood up straight and turned to smile at him. " that high."

As the third set approached i was finally put back in which was perfect because Oikawa wasnt doing to well with our current spiker. After a few tosses back and forth he set up a diversion attack. Our mid block ran up to spike and there blockers jumped as soon as they jumped Oikawa hit the ball and sent it my way. I ran and jumped hitting the ball as hard as i could breaking right through there blockers who got there just in time, to bad ive never met a blocker who i couldn't break through! There libero dove for it but the ball was way to fast for him to even reach. With that last point we won our first game!

As we packed up to get ready for our second of three games or manager came running up to us. " Hey! just so you know the two teams we were supposed to play have both backed out! We are moving up!" The whole team cheered and Oikawa lifted my up onto his shoulders.

knock knock knock " Yes?"  iwas met with a shirtless smiling Oikawa. " Oikawa you dumbass, you cant just take your shirt off whenever you want." I sighed and let him into the hotel room i was in. " not true, but thats not the point. Theres a pool downstairs and i want to go swimming with you!" He was almost bouncing with excitement, how could i say no to someone so cute. "Yeah sure just let me go get changed into a bathing suit!" I remembered to bring one because hotels usually have a pool. Once i got changed into my black lace-patterned bikini i jumped onto Oikawa's back and let him carry me down to the pool. " Wow y/n have you been working out more?" I blushed a but " Ah no its not really that but i guess it is i dont know, ive been working on my legs and arms so i can jump higher." I smiled sheepishly as he set me down by the pool. He sat staring at my body for a second and i started getting self conscious. " Stop staring at me you perv!" You smacked his abs lightly and he helped your wrist so your hand stayed on them. " Ive been working out, can you tell. I mean you did practiaclly feel me up one time." I laughed remembering the first practice game with Karasuno. " If you go by that logic ive technically felt your di-" He picked me up and threw me in the pool. " Thats enough you naughty naughty girl!"
