Victoria's POV
I walk into the police station at quarter to three and sign in waiting to be called, after a half an hour wait I finally get called in to give a statement.
"Hey Vic, you doing okay?" DS Williams asks.
"As good as I can be" I reply
"So we've brought you here to talk about who you may think might be doing this to you have you any ideas anyone at all?"
"No, there's literally no one, I have no enemies and as far as I know everyone likes me here. I haven't been here long I just moved here to work at this hospital and get away from my old life." I explain.
"Is there anybody from where you came from that you may think is behind this?"
"Well I left my ex boyfriend on bad terms but he cheated on me and was quite a horrible boyfriend but I don't think he'd follow me all the way over here to get payback. Besides, he's happy with the girl he cheated on me with, they're even expecting a baby. I couldn't see him ruining that for I guess pay back for me breaking up with him."
"So this ex of yours he's the only person you could think of?" She asks.
"Yeah I guess. But there's no way he would know where I live."
"Well we'll investigate all possible areas for your protection. Where are you staying now?"
"A work colleagues house." I reply.
"Okay good that means if anything else happens we'll know it's someone you know as no one else will know where your staying." She says calmly. I begin to panic.
"What do you mean If anything else happens do you think something else will happen." I begin to feel sick and light headed, I take the glass of water and take a drink and see that my hands are shaking. DS Williams seems to notice too and tries to calm me down "No I'm just saying if anything different or strange begins happening it means it's more likely to be someone you know as they know you've moved into a new place. I'm not saying that anything else will happen and it may not. It may be that some psycho got the wrong house because as you said your new to this area and you've just moved in. Try not to think to much about it you'll be safe and we're doing all we can to solve this case for you"
"Okay thank you." I say more Calm but I'm really terrified and never want to be left alone again.
"So if your ex boyfriend is the only person you can think of, can you tell us his name and address, if you know it."
"His name is Joe Maxwell and I'm not sure where he lives now I'm pretty sure he moved in with his girlfriend but as I said I don't live down there anymore."
"Okay that's fine we'll find his address and get a statement of his whereabouts and let you know as soon as we find out. But that's everything thank you Vic you've helped a lot even though you may seem as though you haven't you have as this way we can rule out people. Try not to worry yourself okay and if you remember anything or anything happens just give me a call okay?"
"Okay thank you." I say standing up ready to leave.
"Bye." She says as I walk out the room. I sign out and get outside as fast as possible to get some air, I take a big gasp in and try and steady my breathing but it keeps getting worse. I think I'm having a panic attack. I struggle to stand and my vision becomes blurry as I try as best as I can to get my breath back, i stumble over to the bench sit down trying to calm myself down before anyone notices. After five minutes I no longer feel dizzy or nauseous and my breath is finally steading, I get my phone out and see a text off Ethan saying "is everything okay? X" I text him back
"Yeah everything's okay, I was useless basically they didn't get any names just my ex on my way home now see you there when you finish x" I couldn't tell him about my panic attack because it'll only leave him worried about me, as long as I act normal around him he won't suspect anything.

Ethans POV
I finally finish work and I go straight into the staff room get changed and go straight home I don't bother saying goodbye to anyone I just want to go home to Vic and make sure she's okay.

I arrive home and find Vic asleep on the couch in her cute fluffy pjs but straight away I get flashbacks from that night I found her and run up to her and shake her but this time she shot up with a terrified look on her face. "Omg Vic I'm so sorry, I just seen you laying there and I got flashbacks omg I'm sorry." Her face looked relived when she realised it was just me.
"Don't worry about it Ethan honestly it's fine. It's just been a long day and I didn't get much sleep last night so I thought I'd rest my eyes for a bit but I must of properly fell asleep sorry."
"No don't apologise I'm sorry." He says sitting beside me "anyways how was the interview?" He asks concerned.
"They just asked if I had any enemies then I said the only person I could think of was my ex but he doesn't live round here. They're gonna ask him where he was then get back in touch."
"Oh well that's progress at least they're doing something."
"Yeah" I say thinking about what else could happen.
"I'm just gonna have a shower then I'll make us something to eat okay."
"No I'm not that hungry I might get an early night since I have a 12 hour shift tomorrow."
"No please Vic you need to eat." He looks really concerned.
"Okay fine."

I put some food in the oven for us and then jump in the shower. I can tell that this whole situation is stressing her out and I need something to take her mind off everything. I text cal and tell him that I need some help and to meet me tomorrow as we both have the day off as he always knows what to do.
