An Ethan Hardy Story

Chapter Three

Victoria's POV

After a half an hour drive we arrive at the party. We get out the car and we can hear the music from Cal and Alicia's new house.

We go inside and quite a lot of people were already here. "Hiya, you look amazing." Gemma said as we go through.
"Thanks, you look really pretty."
"Aw thanks. Come on then Rash let's get another drink, see you later."
"Bye."
"Where's Cal and Alicia?" I ask Ethan.
"I don't know, looks like everyone's outside let's check there." I follow Ethan outside and mainly all the drink and music are outside because it's still very hot and light.
"They're over there." Ethan says pointing to them.

We head over there to say hi "Hiya." Alicia says to us.
"Hi. There's loads here isn't there."
"Yeah I know this place is banging." Cal says doing a little boogie.
"Ignore him, come on let's get you a drink." She says taking my hand and dragging me to the table with all the alcohol on. "Hey Robyn." I say as we get there.
"Hang on, I'll just be a sec." Alicia says going over to greet Louise who's just arrived with Noel.
"You look good." I say to Robyn.
"Thanks, so do you! I bet Ethan's loving it." She says teasing.
"Good one." I say laughing
"Here." She says passing me a beer. "Come on let's dance." She says dragging me to the dance floor.

Ethan's POV

"So, you told her yet?" Cal asks me, again.
"No I haven't."
"Why?"
"We've just got here, give me a chance."
"Well don't leave it too long because if she gets too drunk and you tell her she'll forget about it in the morning."
"She's not gonna is she."
"Ethan, you weren't at the Christmas party she got so drunk, it was so funny."
"Yeah but she just broke up with her boyfriend then didn't she, that's probably why she got so drunk."
"Still, if you leave it any longer she'll find someone else and you'll regret not telling her. Why don't you join her?"
"What?" I asked confused at what he meant.
"Join her dancing. She's dancing with Robyn, join her."
"No, I'm fine here."
"No wonder no one invites you to parties." He walks off and I can't stop thinking about what he said about her finding someone else, I would be so upset if someone else came along, I need to tell her how I feel.

After she had finished dancing I went over to her. "Great moves."
"Thanks, you should join next time, I'd love to see what kind of moves you can do."
"Come on then I'll show you." I grab her and start dancing with her.
"Great dancing." She laughs dancing along with me.

After the song finished, a slow song came on, it was Adele someone like you. Vic grabbed me and we began slow dancing together. I could see Cal watching us in the distance smiling to himself and mouthing "tell her" I ignored him and carried on dancing. By the time the song finished I was staring into her eyes and we were about to kiss when Rash was sick which ruined the moment. Vic turned around and went to help him.

I went over to Cal "so close, bro. So close."
"The nights still young Cal. I have plenty of time to tell her."
"If you say so."
"I'm going to the toilet." I say heading inside.

Victoria's POV

I look at my phone and it's 2 o'clock, I better be going because it'll take me over an hour to walk home so I go over to Cal and Alicia "Thank you for inviting me it's been great."
"Oh you off?" Cal asks
"Yeah, it's been great."
"Well Thanks for coming."
"I'll see you on Monday."
"Bye." They both say in unison.
"Cya."

Ethan's POV

I return from the toilet "what you doing here?" Cal asks
"What do you mean?" I ask confused
"Vic's gone, I thought you were giving her I lift."
"What, I am, she must have thought I was only giving her a lift there. I better catch her, cya."
"Bye."

I rush to my car and I slowly drive down the streets when I finally find her, I roll down my window "Vic did you really think I was only gonna give you a lift there and not back."
"What, Yeah."
"No I wouldn't let you walk home at this time. Get in."  She jumps in and I drive her home.
"Thank you." She says
"No, it's fine, I wouldn't make you walk home in the middle of night. Vic there's something I want to tell you."
"Yeah, what is it."
"Well...."
"Oh no." She says
"What, what's wrong." I say concerned.
"Look, there's been a crash or something, it's gonna take an extra hour to get home now, it's fine I'll walk." She says undoing her seatbelt.
"No, it's fine you can stay at mine."
"No I couldn't let you do that."
"Honestly it's fine, we're both not at work till Monday. You have plenty of time to get home tomorrow when all that is gone."
"Thank you."
"It's fine honestly."
"Anyway what were you saying."
"It doesn't matter."

Victoria's POV

I can't believe Ethan if offering to let me stay at his house, and earlier we nearly kissed but Rash ruined the moment.

When we arrived at his house he said "here is one of my shirts to sleep in, I'm guessing you don't wanna sleep in your dress."
"No i don't, thanks again."
"I'll sleep on the couch you can have my bed."
"No, you can keep your bed I'll stay on the couch."
"I really don't mind."
"Honestly it's fine."
"If your sure." I nod and he goes to get a quilt for me "anyways I'm tired, I'll see you in the morning."
"Night."

I go to the bathroom and get changed and I sit under the quilt and think to myself "I'm staying in Ethan's house and we nearly kissed, I need to tell him how I feel because I think he feels the same way."
