"So you don't want to talk about it?" Carrie asked while pulling up her pants. It was a couple days after the double shooting. Bar was still on life support and Herb's aunt was planning the funeral. The only way he knew how to deal with his pain was through writing songs and having sex. since he hadn't picked up the pen in a couple of days he decided to pay Carrie a visit. Herb didn't know how to feel. He was angry at the world. He had no idea who was out for him and his crew. But he couldn't lose anyone else.

"Man I ain't come over here to talk about that shit." Carrie sighed while clipping on her bra. "Baby.. I know you don't want to talk about with me but it's not like I don't know what's happening Hebert!"

Herb was getting frustated with Carrie, "You don't know shit!"

"Hebert don't fucking cuss at me the streets are talking! Every one at school talks about y'all and what y'all did! And I'm not fucking stupid I know how to put two and two together. You and the guys are always leaving at all times of the night, Bar was lying to Dia and she didn't see it but I did. I just wish you would talk to me maybe I can help."

"You can't help with shit to be honest." Herb tried leaving but she blocked the door handle from him.

"Herb-"

"Can you fucking move please?! Damn! Can't you see I'm not fucking in the mood. I don't want to talk to you. You can't help me. You can't bring my brother back can you? You can't get my nigga off life support can you? Bitch you ain't god." Carrie gasped before raising her hand and running it across Herb face. Carrie was hurt that he would call her out of her name. Carrie opened the door for him and waited for him to walk out making sure to slam the door behind him. Carrie could feel herself about to cry but she had to quickly suck it up when she heard her mom come from downstairs. "Why you slamming doors in my house? You don't pay for shit around here. And didn't I tell you I don't want you hanging around your friends anymore.."

"But mommy-"

"No buts Carrie! Them boys you hang around are criminals and they have people shooting at them I don't want that shit following you! That boy is laid up in that hospital on LIFE SUPPORT Caroline I will not have anything bad happen to you. So find some new friends and I mean it." Caroline or Carrie knew her mother was right, it was too much heat going around and she didn't want to get caught in the middle. For the next couple of weeks, Diamonte couldn't pay attention to school thinking about her brother being laid up in the hospital. They had buried Twinkie and the boys hadn't been to school since. Herb's mom was scared to let him out of the house. Carrie's mom had her doing school work online so the only person that was in school was Diamonte. It wasn't like she was learning anything but she couldn't just sit in the house all day. Selena would check on her every now and then but Diamonte was shutting everybody out.

She pulled out her phone to see if she had any messages but she didn't. She was disappointed, she hadn't heard from Bibby since the party. She knew he was hiding from her and it was killing her inside. Since it was lunch time and she was just sitting in the library staring at the wall to kill time she decided to go to the courtyard to call Bibby.

She hesitated but eventually pressed his name and put the phone to her ear. After a few rings it went voicemail which caused her to suck her teeth.

You a bitch.

Diamonte sent to him and locked her phone. She felt played by him. But then she realized it was her fault for ever trusting him.

"Well it ain't the thief's sister.." Diamonte heard some guy say behind her and she turned around. It was three guys that walked up on her, she didn't know them personally but she knew they were seniors.
