"What?...no...my mom is a nurse! And my dad....well..my mom never talked about him...." i was confused. Today I woke up to a normal day, and now i was finding out my father was a Greek god? And i was a...Demigod? And that all the greek myths are true? It had to be a dream, but deep down I knew it was real. "So...who is my dad?" I asked. "We don't know, he has to claim you" Peter told me.
"What? You said i was a demigod! How can you not know?" Percy looked at me.
"We knew you were a demigod because monsters keep coming for you"
"that only happened once..." I said.
"No, they only attacked once, but they have been at your school before" Peter said. "Remember all those times I looked worried? You probably though it was because of tests, but it was really because I knew that there were monsters there" I looked at Peter,
"so you were only at that school to find me?" I asked.
"Well...thats What Satyrs do. But we're still friends" I didn't say anything, I just looked away. So we were still friends, that was good. But I didn't want to talk to him right now.
"So, What does claim me mean?"
"It means that the sign of your godly parent will appear above you, it's supposed to happen when you demigods get to camp. But, sometimes it takes longer" Percy said to me. "Oh, ok" I said. I was really hopping i could be claimed soon. I wanted to know who my dad was.
"It's getting late. You should take her to cabin 11" Chiron said.
"ok, come on Helena. I'll take you" Annabeth told me. "On the way we can get you a weapon" I looked at her."
"A weapon?" I said
"yeah, you're gonna learn how to fight." "Really?" I said with excitement.
"Yeah, now come on" l said good night to Percy and Peter, and everyone else i had met. Then Annabeth lead me to the back of a building, which i assumed was the training place or something. She opened a big trunk, and inside there were swords, daggers, knifes, shields, and spears. "Pick one" Annabeth said. I saw a shiny black dagger, and picked it up.
"That's stygian iron" she said. "Good Pick, i use a dagger so i can teach you tomorrow"
"cool! thanks" I said with a smile. "No problem, now lets get you to cabin eleven."
