The next morning was quiet; I suspected that Trevor had gone to work hours ago, but when I got up I found, much to my surprise, that Trevor was still asleep on the couch. Worrying that he did something stupid while I was asleep, I rushed to his side and knelt down in front of him. "Trevor?" I softly spoke, but he didn't move. I gently rested my hand on his arm and began to shake him. "Trevor?" His eyes slowly opened and he looked at me with confusion. "Shit." I sighed with relief. "I thought you were dead."
"Dead?" Trevor asked with a delirious yawn. "Why?"
"It's noon."
"It's a Saturday."
"Right...even so, you're usually up by seven, even on your days off."
"I must've been more tired than I thought." Trevor slowly sat up and stretched before looking down at me with a grin. "Are you gonna suck me off or are you gonna get up?"
"Oh, fuck off!" I smacked him in the chest and stood up, causing him to fall back against the couch. "So...you're okay?"
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"Because of...well...what we talked about?" Trevor fell silent and thought to himself before giving me a gentle nod.
"Yeah...I'm okay."
"Good, because I've been mulling it over for a while now—"
"I'm not confronting my mother."
"Screw that, she's a white trash bitch!" I hissed. "She doesn't need confronting, she needs permanent prison time." I took a deep breath and let out a sigh. "Sorry, I'm trying not to get too worked up over it. It's just...she fucking ruined your life, the life you could've had."
"It happens."
"It shouldn't though. You never even got the chance to be a kid. I mean, a real kid." I walked over to the kitchen table and picked up a flyer I got in the mail and handed it to him. "So, I propose that we fix that."
"Fix what?" Trevor looked the flier over with confusion.
"The Chicken Festival is tonight in Paleto Bay, we need to go."
"No." Trevor instantly declined and shoved the flyer back into my hands.
"Why not?"
"I don't do festivals."
"You don't or never have?" Trevor glared at me and rose to his feet, only to go to the fridge and grab himself an eCola. "Come on, Trevor, it'll be fun! There'll be music, games, I heard this year they added rides."
"Rides?" Trevor scoffed. "What are you a child?"
"No, but tonight, you will be for the first time."
"And what if I say no?"
"Then I'll pout until you say yes, and I'm very good at that."
"I highly doubt that." I slowly walked towards Trevor, who backed away in response until he was against the wall, and slowly licked my bottom lip, looking up at him as I bat my eyelashes.
"Please, Trevor?"
"Uh...no?" I gently rested my hand against his arm and slowly stroked it.
"It'd mean a lot to me...please come with me?"
"Mmm, say that again." Trevor purred.
"Please come with me, Trevor?"
"Well, how can I say no to that?" Trevor's hands began to grab my waist but missed as I walked off towards the bedroom to grab a change of clothes.
