The next morning Sonic wanted to play outside. So while Tom and Maddie were inside Sonic was playing in the backyard. He was running around and playing with toy cars. "I love being outside!" Sonic said while running. Just then he saw something fly by. He looked up but didn't see anything but the bright blue sky. "Hello?" Sonic yelled. He got no response. Just then he felt a gust of wind behind him. He turned around and noticed one of his favourite cars were missing. "What the heck!" Sonic yelled. "Sorry, it looked really cool.." a voice said from behind him. Sonic turned around and saw a yellow fox. "Who are you?" Sonic asked. (In this story Tails and Sonic never met) "I'm Miles Prower! But my friends call me Tails!" Tails said. "My name is Sonic!" Sonic said with a big grin on his face. "Cool!" Tails said. Sonic Suddenly had a confused face. "What?" Tails asked. "You have two tails!" Said said in suprise! "Oh yeah I was born like that heh." Tails said. "But I can fly!" Tails said before spinning is two tails and lifting himself into the air. "Wow! That's so cool!" Sonic said. Tails landed and smiled. "Thanks!" Tails replied. "I can run super fast." Sonic said before running around Tails super fast. "Woah! You're making me dizzy!" Tails said while giggling. Suddenly Tom came in. "Sonic time for lunch!" Tom said. Sonic and Tails stared at Tom and Tom stared back. "Umm." Tom said. "Is this another one of your friends Sonic?" Tom asked. Sonic looked at Tails then back at Tom. "Yep he is my best friend, Tails!" Sonic said while smiling. Tails had a huge grin on his face. Tom looked at Tails and then saw his two tails. "You have two tails?!" Tom said. "Yep!" Tails said. "I can also fly!" Tails said while spinning his two tails and flying around Tom. "Um alright Tails. Would you like some lunch?" Tom asked. "Yes please! I'm starving!" Tails said. "Ok! Come on in!" Tom said. "Yay!" Tails said. Sonic and Tails raced inside and ran to the kitchen. "Hey Sonic ready for lun-" Maddie was cut off when she saw Tails. "OMG!! You are so adorable!!" Maddie said while patting Tails's head. "*gasp* and you have TWO TAILS!!" Maddie yelled. "Heh yeah..." Tails said. "Want some lunch little guy?" Maddie asked. "Yes please!" Tails responded. "Alright! Go wait at the table with Sonic." Maddie said. "She's nice, what's her name?" Tails whispered to Sonic. "Her name is Maddie, but I call her Pretzel Lady because she can bend really far. And that over there is Tom, but I call him Donut Lord because he talks to donuts and then eats them if they get out of line." Sonic whispered back. Tails giggled. "Those are funny names." Tails whispered. Sonic laughed. "Alright lunch is ready!" Maddie said. She put two bowls of soup in front of the two boys. "Eat up!" "Thank you Pretzel Lady!" Tails said. Maddie smiled and looked over to Sonic. Sonic shrugged and started eating his soup. "Silly boys." Maddie said.
