It was probably the longest train ride to the Capitol. I never wanted to walk through that place full of despair and ugly white roses again. I hated the Capitol and everything in it. I just thought about Peeta, even when he was next to me. I lay with Peeta the whole way. We couldn't have been more happier. We had the best three hours together, and I never left his side. He cuddled with me, and we gave each other long kisses. I loved Peeta more than anything in the world, and we were planning to start a family. But now that Snow has come back to haunt us, I don't think we will ever start a new family tree. We will be the ends of our own trees.
We reached our destination, but Peeta and I didn't want to get out of bed. We were happy where we were, and we couldn't let each other go. I get up with ugly, shriveled up hair, blueberry pancake breath and makeup running down my face, however Peeta looks perfect. I don't get how he can be so gorgeous every minute of his life. Even when he's sleeping he still looks like an angel to me. For some reason, he still puts the biggest smile on his face when he sees me as an "angel" even though I really look like a "mutt." "Are you ready Katniss?" He asks. "No. I'm not. But if we want to save our future family, our friends and all of the districts, then we should probably get going. We aren't going to let that demon hurt another human being on this earth." Peeta wraps his arms around my waist and puts his forehead onto mine. He stares into my dull, grey eyes for about five seconds until he finally says something. "You are the bravest woman I've ever met. You were the best pick to be the MockingJay." He then kisses my neck, and I kiss him back. These show signs of real love. We aren't just showing it for the cameras and the Capitol's amusement anymore. We aren't staged actors. We are unbreakable. Peeta loves me more than anything in the world. Even when I'm not in the right mood, and I'm too damned to see him, he still shows true signs by looking deep into me with those beautiful, blue eyes and those whitened and straight teeth. I love him more than anything in the world, and I am very lucky to have him.
We step off the train, holding hands while standing next to each other because it was snowing and below freezing. We hear screeching noises from behind us, and we turn around to watch the train move past us, knowing that train ride, was the train ride to hell, and here we are...the two star-crossed lovers from District 12, preparing again another deadly fight with the Devil himself, President Snow.
