Prettier in Pink

That brings me to my next victim, of Cas.

A few days before we went into lockdown, I'd spotted a hot pink trench coat in the local thrift store window. I would have brought it on the spot, but since I was with Sam I assumed he'd catch onto my plan and stop me. I was planning on going back into town one night to get it, but then the thrift store shut down and I wasn't allowed to leave the house so I had to make due without it.

I ended up just making the trenchcoat appear pink with my mojo and not with dye, and that honestly was better in the end because I was able to make it appear pink to the Winchesters and normal to Cas. That way Cas would still wear it without knowing anything was off.

Sam and I were already sitting in the kitchen when Cas walked in. Sam did a double take. Mentally I was shouting at Sam to not say anything. The message must have gotten through because he just raised an eyebrow at me and didn't say anything more than a gruff, "Morning, Cas."

Now it was a waiting game until Dean showed up. Dean has never been a morning person so it took about a half an hour before he showed his face. But his face when he saw Cas was so worth the wait.

"What the hell are you wearing, Cas!?"

Cas cocked his head to the left and asked, "What do you mean?"

"Your trench coat," Dean trailed off, look to Sam to back him up. Then he saw me and put two and two together.

"What do you do to Cas' coat, Gabriel?" Dean growled.

Before I could speak up Cas said, "What are you talking about? Gabe didn't do anything to my coat. It's the same as it always is."

Now Sam jumped in, "Actually to us your trench coat is hot pink." Cas let out a soft oh and started inspecting his coat as if he was willing himself to see what the Winchesters saw.

"Cool your jets. Nothing I did is permanent."

"Then change it back," Dean and Cas said at the same time.

"I will, but first we should head to the garage,"  I said with a mischievous wink at Sam.

I lead the gang to the garage where my prank on Dean was parked.
