I was getting ready for a date.

I was fixing my hair. Wore my prettiest dress. Put on my most expensive makeup.

Wore my most glamorous pair of shoes.

I am now ready.

I waited for taxi outside my house.

When a taxi stopped by, I immediately rode it.

"Manong sa may Makati po. "

"Sige iha." sagot nito.

When we arrived, he stopped the car. I payed and got off.

I was feeling a little bit nervous. I don't know why.

I got in the elevator. Pressed the button for the 13th floor.

When I heard a "ding", I immediately got off.

Again, I felt something wrong. My heart beats so fast. I don't know why.

I reached for the key at my bag. I opened up the door. I wore my sweetest smile before I totally opened the door.

I greeted. "Happy Anniversary Babe!" but when I saw him hanging, I froze.

I felt my tears dripping from my eyes to my red cheeks.

I hurriedly ran into him.

"Babe? Tell me this is a prank? Tell me babe. "

He did not respond.

I checked for his pulse. He's dead and I was the reason.

Last night I told him that I want to break up with him. I didn't mean it. It was part of my prank. I was going to surprise him today.
