I somehow fall asleep to the rhythmic pattern of the horse's gallops, and am jolted awake by the horse neighing loudly. I look out the window and see we are here. I grin a little bit. "It's a pretty big town Ms. Bragston, you sure you gonna be all right?" my coach asks in his usual rough voice. "I'll be fine." I say. He nods and I grab all my stuff, then he heads back home. First stop: Greyhead tavern. I lift my dress up trying to not get it dirty but it's hard while carrying luggage. I finally give up and just deal with the fact my dress is going to be muddy. I finally reach the tavern and I get a good look at it. It is all worn down, and wet. This is where all the people who know about the other things go. I walk in, and immediately wrinkle my nose. It smells horrid in here! it smells like people who haven't bathed and cigars. It also smells like drinks. I walk in and all eyes are on me. I sit down at the bar and order just a water. "What business does a young lady like yourself have here?"The bartender asks. The smoke from his cigar is all in my face, and I start to cough. "None of your business." I say. "Fair enough." he hands me my water and I take sips of it watching fights break out over the bar. I pay him when I'm halfway done with the water and a someone sits next to me. He orders something that I can't hear over the noise. I look closer, and grin. This is him. He looks at me and smiles back, I turn my attention to my water again. This will be easier than I thought.
I use the restroom just for the tiny mirror they have in there. I pull my dress down to make it more revealing. I pull out all of the pearl pins that made my hair stay up and let my hair fall down. My light blonde hair is curled from the braid. I then walk out of the bathroom trying to be as seductive as I can. I sit back down in my usual spot. He is gaping at me. I look over at him and he snaps his head around. "What's your name?" I ask him, though I already know the answer. "J-James." "What a lovely name, James." he is still gaping at me, this will be real easy. I look at his attire. He is wearing a grayish-blackish suit with a light blue tie. I stand up and walk over to him. I grab his tie and start to kiss him passionately. I feel around my boot to make sure it's still there, and it is. We finally go in the bathroom and keep kissing. "You are a very good kisser." I say in between kisses. "You too." he looks up at me and smiles. I feel for my boot and grab the dagger. I take it in my hands. When he leans in to kiss me I do it. I push the dagger through his abdomen. I tear it out and let him fall to the floor, as he gasps His blood splatters the very bottom of my dress. I crouch down to where he is lying. I feel his heartbeat, it's barely beating. His suit has blood all over it, and he's lying in a pool of blood."Never trust a pretty girl." I say. I give him on last kiss and walk out of the bathroom.
