"There's nothing you figure out." I mutter.
Will starts to trek towards me. He grabs my arm again, and starts to look at it. I swat him away like a bug, but his grip is to tight. "You're a Shadowhunter?", he asks. "No. I hate Nephilim and everything related to them." I say. I grab my arm back rubbing around the red spots that have just appeared. He says, "But why wouldn't you like us? We are handsome, and very charming." I shake my head. "And arrogant." I say under my breath. I'm going to find another Shadowhunter, these two are to close. I stalk off in the direction of the woods. "Thanks a lot." I say. I hike up my skirts and walk through the mud.
Why would she go into the woods? William thought. And what was she doing with Ethan? She had marks covering all over skin. Runes. But most important of all, why didn't she like him? He was incredibly good-natured and handsome. The way she stomped off made him think of Tessa. Oh Tessa. The beautiful girl he would never have. Her and Jem off were who knows where, doing who knows what. He stares at the greenery of the forest. Tall pine trees that grow above the buildings right next to it. As soon as the sun starts to set, Will makes the dumbest move he has ever made, and he's made a lot, and follows her into the forest.
Branches slap me in the face whenever I walk and twigs threaten to trip me. I stopped lifting my skirts so I could protect as much of my face as I could from the trees. I can hear footsteps behind me. He better not have been stupid enough to come in here. I finally find the clearing in the forest. Kadinu is already leaning on a tree. His bright green skin doesn't have any sign of dirt or marks. His skin and his eyes practically glow in the night sky. You didn't get the last one. He hisses. His tongue is a plum color and is split down the middle. Just looking at him makes me wince. "I know, I know. They were to close together." I don't know if your parents would be joyful or sad. He observes me with his red eyes. "Don't bring my parents into this." My voice sounds tiny. Serena Bragston, tsk tsk. You always got involved into to many emotions. He pulls a dagger out and examines it, as if it were an expensive piece of jewelry. He starts to aim. I have no where to go and no weapon. I start to embrace it, I'd rather die than live in this place. My heart threatens to beat it's way out of my chest. He throws the dagger and it embeds itself into my abdomen. I gasp, and my hands go towards the dagger. He cackles as I fall to the forest floor. They better be dead, or you'll wish you were. I make out him disappearing and a white blurring image just before I black out.
