(sorry for the late update) *i would like to address something: so i started writing these stories for fun, and i will continue to do so, but i want some of you to remember that i have a life outside of wattpad and i had some stressful stuff happen recently. just remember that<3

katie's pov

i finished reading some more comments then i set my phone down. i got out my camera and set it up by the window for good lighting. i wasn't sure if i wanted to do a real video, or go live. but i decided to just film a video since not everyone sees lives.

i sat there just looking out the window for about five minutes. i tried to gather everything that i was going to say. i can't believe that i lost my best friend in just a few hours. i shook all those thoughts out of my head then turned to the camera. i got out my phone and went to twitter. i tweeted earlier for people to ask me questions about the situation, so i pulled up all those questions.

i took a deep breath before i presses record on the camera.

"hey guys! i'm back and today i'm going to try and explain a situation that went down between me and mads." i said to the camera

i looked at my phone then said "i asked you guys earlier to tweet me some questions you had so i'm gonna be answering them"

"okay the first question is what really happened?" i read aloud.

i took a deep breath then said "okay so in this, me and mads will both be 'the bad guys' at some points, but we have to remember to forgive each other" i started

"so it all started with me, jaden, bryce, nessa, and josh playing hide and seek around the hotel. we did teams and me and jaden were on a team. and if you didn't know this before, me and jaden have been best friends since like..birth. but anyway, me and jaden decided to hide on the roof of the hotel. bryce was the seeker and he later explained that mads came to surprise me, so she and bryce found me and jaden first. however, at the time, me and jaden...well we k-kissed, and mads saw" i explained

"i understand that mads best friend kissing her ex isn't really the best thing, but that doesn't give her a reason to spread lies about me. i also understand that she is just frustrated with the situation and, so am i, but i love her, and i just want to work it out with her, not over the internet." i said

"right, back to the story. ok so after mads saw me and jaden kissing, she kinda just..broke down? she started yelling and calling everyone names, and a lot of arguing went down." i said

"so i think that sums up a lot of the story so i'll do another question" i looked at my phone and saw one "ok, since mads exposes you, can you expose mads?" i read aloud. i thought for a second before answering "i don't want to be like that, but if mads continues to try and spread lies about me, i might" i said

"ok next ques-" i started but someone opened the door

"hey angel" jaden yelled from the bathroom. i blushed a little but quilting stopped because of the camera.

"jaden i'm filming" i said back to him

"ohhhh i'm sorry" he said in a sort of high pitched voice

i giggled then turned back to the camera. i didn't have to keep all this in, but i think i will, because it sort of helps my side of the story in a way.

i heard the toilet flush and jaden came out

"do you want me to leave?" he asked

"no your good, you can come sit" i said while patting the floor next to me. i moved over a little so jaden could be in the frame.

"ok so next question is, do you and jaden really like each other?" i read the question aloud but i didn't say anything after that. i looked at jaden and he was blushing, but you could tell he was trying to hide it.

"jaden?" i said, trying to get his attrition because it looked as if he dozed off

he shook his head a little and i could tell he snapped back into reality, but i giggled at the sight of him.

"next question?" he asked trying to avoid it. i honestly didn't wanna answer it either, even though i know the answer.

"yea" i said while giggling.

the rest of the video continued with just me and jaden answering some questions and just addressing the situation some more.

"ok, that should be it for today! and make sure to comment any other questions i might be able to answer. ok, bye guysss" i said to the camera while blowing them a kiss.

"byeee" jaden said while waving to the camera.

i leaned forward and turned off the camera.

"oh god i hope this works" i said while sighing

"it will, don't worry" jaden said while rubbing my back for comfort

i smiled at him.

if it doesn't, me and my platform are screwed
