CHAPTER 25 - The Memory of the calm before the Storm...

(Everyone's stories will be coming out faster due to the shelter in place and make sure not to get sick. Please keep in mind that this version of Nightmare steve is my oc so much of magma's past will be of my creation, so enjoy the chapter.)

(Steve Saga Origins Episode - Red Steve saves Rainbow Steve)

Magma's P.O.V

Magma's body froze and time seemed to slow down as he watched with horror as the floor disappeared beneath rainbow steve's feet and he began to fall. Magma heard rainbow steve scream once before the floor closed up as soon as rainbow steve disappeared. The only thing keeping magma from going out of control was the fact that he felt rainbow steve's energy. His energy was unharmed and safe but it seemed like rainbow steve got knocked out from the stress or the fall. Magma took some deep breaths to calm down before he focused on what the skeleton king was saying to blue steve and some other skeleton guards that hadn't been there a few seconds ago.

"Take the prisoner back up, and DO NOT forget the precautions for the yellow one" the skeleton king ordered the guards. The guards made some cracking noises with their jaws before leaving the room.

A few minutes passed before magma heard blue Steve angry shouting something. Blue steve appeared in front of magma's cell door with one of the skeleton's holding a sword to his throat. The skeleton holding blue steve makes some noises before pointing at him to blue steve. While magma couldn't understand the skeleton's message it was clear 'do anything out of line and your friend gets it'. Magma gave them a sharp nod and the other skeleton opened the iron door. Magma slowly walked out of his cell and the other skeleton roughly grabbed his shoulder and pushed him forward. He stumbled a bit at the rough treatment but said nothing, as he walked in the direction of the two skeletons, were leading them to. Magma glanced at blue steve and saw that blue steve face devoid of any emotion and his shoulders were slumped forward. It reminded magma of when Elemental steve played puppet master with other steves and that wasn't the worst part. The worst part was that the fire in blue steve's eyes, the thing that kept him going was gone making his blue-gray eyes look like a stormy day. Magma got lost in his thoughts and before he knew it they were walking across the wooden floor of the docks until they stood in front of the Skeleton king. He stood there as the skeleton king began his speech about how he was so grateful for their help in finding his horse(?) and forgetting the artifact for him. That seemed to snap blue steve out of his grief as he looked at and glared at the Skeleton king.

"You have no right! That belongs to Rainow steve!" magma smiled at the present tense that blue steve used. Magam had to bite back a smile as he felt rainbow steve started to move in their direction. Lightning struck a few feet from blue steve and a familiar voice rang out.

"On the contrary, that...artifact...belongs to ME!!!" Dark steve seemed to appear to blend in with the black sky so all that was seen was his red ruby eyes.

"No, it doesn't! You know why!? It's because you are evil and a...a.big JERK!" Blue Steve yelled out with his eyes filled with determination and anger. Magma let out a snort at the rainbow steve like phase coming out of blue steve's mouth. Blue steve gave magma a short glare before putting his attention back on dark steve. It also seemed to be that Magma, short out of amusement, also caught Dark steve's attention. Dark steve looked him up and down before his eye furrowed it, what seemed to be confusion.

"And...who do we have here?" Dark steve flew down and landed in front of magma with a genuine look of confusion much like a lost animal would have. That comment made magma remember his dark steve and how lost and broken he was before he lost his mind and went insane. "Why do you feel like my father?" Magma cut dark Steve off before he could finish knocking what he was going to say and what many issues it would make if he finished it.
