(Steve saga Origins Episode - Green Steve loses Everything)
Rainbow steve P.O.V
"So What's wrong with your leader?" Rainbow steve asked with some anger seeping into his voice from their last visit to the green steve village. Pine winced as he looked like he understood the anger.
"Well, after he woke up after he was healed by the mysterious steve, he became closed off and refused to talk to anyone...including me," Pine told them whispering the last part with hurt in his tone making rainbow steve soften.
"Sorry about that, but what makes you think he will even listen to us?" Blue Steve asked, glancing at the green leader on top of the jungle tree. Pine looked at them with an unrecognizable emotion.
"Just trust me, he will talk with you for a...reason I... can't say" Pine suddenly shivered as if remembering something bad, probably when their village was attacked.
"Okay...we can give it a try but I doubt I would do any good." Rainbow Steve told them with a raised eyebrow before walking over to the green leader.
"Hey..umm..Green leader? How are you doing buddy?" Rainbow Steve hesitantly asked and the green leader turned to glance at them before looking forward once more.
"Don't call me that..." The green leader told him calmly making both blue steve and rainbow steve dumbfounded.
"What are you talking about green leader-?"
"I SAID DON'T CALL ME THAT!" The green leader shouted at them angrily before sighing and whispered "I have failed to live up to my own name...I couldn't protect my own friends and village..." The leader's shoulders slumped down in defeat. Blue steve made a face understanding
"You think you have failed your people? That's why you think you failed right?" Blue steve guessed and made rainbow steve also understand what was happening.
"But...haven't you been trying to keep them safe though?" Rainbow Steve reminds him of feeling pity for the broken, sad Steve in front of him. The green leader let out a laugh with no humor
"And look at where that has gotten us...No home, my people were injured and infected and I WASN'T ABLE TO EVEN HELP! That Steve though could help them against that dark infection..." The leader's shoulders shook. Rainbow Steve's heart is filled with determination.
"If that steve saved you then you have to use this opportunity to rise! Then all of us can work together to stop the real villain here!" The leader stayed silent as he appeared to be thinking, but rainbow steve wasn't done. "If you really care for your people- for your friends you won't- no, you SHOULDN'T give up for them!" At his words, it seemed to snap the green leader out of whatever state he was in and he stood up and stood like a true leader. He turned towards the two steves making them gasp at the scar of his face but also the strong determination in his teary green eyes that now held purpose and weren't as dark as before.
"Your right Rainbow steve...thank you"
Magma P.O.V
Magma walked up to the gate and made it inside without a problem and strolled into the kingdom. There were many different yellow steve walking around and he even saw a few younger yellow steve running around laughing. Magma was a very adaptable person, he had to be from when he changed into nightmare steve, become infected by darkness and control it, then back into his (kinda) yellow steve form, only to become a spirit then become alive and become a half form of a yellow steve and nightmare steve personalities. He had to learn to adapt or he would have lost his sanity and mind but even with him being very flexible it still took time for him to get used to things, just as who different steves looked. Steves of different colors usually looked and shared the same clothes as their colors suggested, for example, two green steve could look the same but a yellow steve and a purple steve would look completely different. So it came as a surprise to him when all the yellow steve all wore similar clothes but were different like one wore a scarf another wore a necklace and then another yellow steve had a trench coat. The also big difference is that the steves have different skin colors unlike back in his world where the skin color depends on the type of steve you are. This made magma look at the yellow steve as he looked at their different clothing styles. Magma sighed when he noticed that most yellow steves were much lighter shades than him, however, some came close to matching his yellow shade, but not enough making him not stand out as much as he originally thought. The sound of happy laughter snapped him out of his thoughts and made a new sense of nostalgia come back to him while inside his old home. Magma walked past different yellow steve with a few giving him curious looks before going back to whatever they were doing. Magma continued walking looking at the small homes and buildings until he reached a large water fountain that looked slightly smaller than he remembered. He walked over and sat at the edge of the fountain as he stated to regret coming in the first place. Now that he was inside the kingdom surrounded by more people than he had for a long time made him very nervous and tense to do anything. Right now, he was wishing he had saber's confidence or even rainbow steve's determination because all he had to do was give warming to the king a leave....easy right?
