"So are you feeling better?" Jonah asked the girl.

"Yeah." She chuckled. "Thank you."

"No problem." Jonah smiled down at her.

"Hey what's up?" Daniel asked as he came over.

"Ugh." Thalia groaned. "What are you doing here?"

Jonah got up from beside her and nodded as he left the two to talk.

Daniel smiled as he came and sat next to her causing her to shift away a little bit. "Just checking on you."

She scrunched up her nose a bit. "Why would you do that?"

"Because Thalia." He laughed. "That's what friends do."

"We," She pointed between them. "Are not friends."

"We could be." Daniel sighed as he took a sip of his drink. "I mean, if you weren't such a bitch to me."

"Im not a bitch to you." Thalia shrugged. "I just dont like you."

The blonde boy nodded his head. "Noted."

The two sat in silence for a moment and watched their fellow partygoers before Daniel spoke again. "You look pretty tonight."

"Thank you." She only half smiled. "You don't look absolutely revolting."

Daniel ran a hand through his hair as he chuckled. "I'll take that as a compliment."

Thalia looked at him a small smirk on her face. "Take it however you'd like."

"See you can be nice if you really want to." Daniel nudged her.

"No, its only because im tired and upset." She shrugged. "I'll be back to myself tomorrow."

"Why are you upset?" Daniel asked.

"Its stupid." She shook her head.

"You sure?" He questioned.

Thalia stared and the blonde boy's blue orbs before answering. "I have separation anxiety and i get kind of... lost without Meg."

"Thats not stupid Thalia." Daniel smiled at her as he edged closer to her. 

"What are you doing?" She looked at him confused.

"Im gonna kiss you now." Daniel laughed slightly.

"Why?" She stared at him, eyes wide.

"I feel like it." Daniel shrugged.

"You better not taste like ass Seavey." Thalia whispered to him.

Daniel smiled as he slowly brought his lips towards her, kissing her passionately. He brought his head back and tilted his head to the side, as if he was questioning her.

"How was that?"
