Fresh off of a long tour week, I was in route to Walgreens to pick up a prescription for muscle relaxants. I loved what I did for a living but man does it take a toll on your body.
Inside, there were 2 pharmacy technicians behind the counter filling prescriptions. I walked up to the one on the left because the one on the right was waiting on an old man. I didn't know what was going on over there but it sounded like the makings of an argument.
The right tech sighed with annoyance. "Okay well you'll just have to speak with the pharmacist about all that."
"Well bring him out!"
"Her," she corrected, disappearing in a room behind the counter.
The next thing I saw was big hair wearing a white lab coat. The curls were so long they were practically taking over her face. That's when a throwback image popped into my head. Crystal. She had hair similar to that back then but much shorter. Wonder what she's doing now. Then I heard the voice speaking to settle whatever the situation was. This woman also sounded like Crystal. Surely it can't be...can it?
"Here's your prescription, sir," my tech said, pulling me away from the other scene.
