CHAPTER 3 THE GUY IN BLACK

Mar’s POV

Nandito na ako ngayon sa gate ng school and first time kung maka punta or Makita ito. Yung daddy kulang naman ang nag enroll sa akin and I never bother checking the school out.

Bomosina ako ng dalawang beses so that the guard will notice and open the gate for me. I saw the guard approaching me and knocked on my window and sympre binaba ko agad ang glass window.

“Good morning sir!” naka ngiting bati ni manong guard sa akin.

I just throw a cold look at him as my reply.

“Ahh..ehh puwede ko bang makita ang entry card mo sir? Di kasi puwedeng mag papasok ng studyanteng may sasakyan kung wala kayo noon.” Pag papaliwanag nito.

I rolled my eyes and made an annoyed look into my face, of course wala ako noong mga pass-pass nayun like the hell I care about that. I pick up my wallet and show manong guard my ID.

“Will this do?” the soon he saw my full name he was in shocked and signaled the man at the guard house to open up the gate.

“Ayy hala sorry sir puwede napo kayong pumasok.”

"Works everytime.”

I closed the window and nag drive na papuntang parking lot. Malaki pala talaga ang school na ito. When I arrived at the parking lot na kita ko si Alex naka cross arms and very annoyed. I knew I am in trouble. As soon as I opened the door she of course yelled at me, as expected.

“Where have you been? Kanina pa ako rito. Do you know how dreadful it was to take an uber alone?” galit na pag papaliwanag nito, her face turns red.

She’s really cute when she’s mad. She looks like an angry puppy.

"Good Morning din po.” I smirked and gave Alex the cake I bought earlier.

"Anu to? sohol? di mo ako ma dadala sa mga sohol Mars.”

Galit na sabi nito while naka cross arms and turn her back at me. She will give in eventually.

1 and ..

“Is that a Purple yam cheesecake?” naka pout na tanong nito.

“Yes it is.”

Tipid na sagot ko then I nod. She snatched the paper bag from me and opened it to check if it is her favorite. I saw her eyes sparkling when she confirmed it is purple yam cheesecake. Then she looked at me.

“You have me this time Mars, but not again.” Babalang sabi nito.

“Alright..Alright, shall we go to the gym?” I said.

Then she lead the way kasi kabisado niya ang school nato. It’s now 8:30am and madami na ang mga estudyante ng makarating kame sa gym. 9 kasi mag sisimula ang opening and welcoming sa mga freshmen. When we entered the gym may narinig akong may tumatawag kaya ginala-gala ko ang aking mga mata to have a glace kung sino ang tumatawag.

"Mars!”  sigaw nito.

I saw a tall guy with black hair, wearing a light brown suit, white inner and red tie walking towards us.

“Good morning tito!” naka ngiting bati ni Alex then nag beso beso sila.

“Good morning tito.” I said with a neutral tone and nod at him.

By the way the principal of this school is my Uncle. His name is Jhon Franklin Montiverde.  matalik na kaibigan siya ni daddy and the very reason bakit dito ako nag aral kasi para mabantayan ako ng uncle ko while in his absence. Oh diba? Surprise? Wala payan..madami pa akong mga pasabog chill lang kayo.

“Have you already explored the campus?” He asked.

“Not yet tito kasi ang isa diyan late ng naka rateng.” Sarcastic na pag kasabi ni Alex, I just look at her and throw a seriously face then she just rolled her eyes as a reply.

“Oh well..you can do it later after the opening, you don’t have to go into class for this day.” He explained with a smile on his face.

“Thank you tito.” Nag heart-heart ang mata ni Alex pag karinig niya sa mga salitang yun then she hugged him like a brat.

“Thanks tito.” Tipid na sabi ko.

"By the way, Mars I need to introduce you to the faculty and staff later.” He said
“That’s not necessary tito kilala nanaman nila ako.” I replied with a haste

“This is a direct order from your Dad and this is for formality sake.” He explained

"Don’t you worry tito I will make sure na makakarating siya sa meeting niyo mamaya.” Sabi ni Alex.

I throw again a don’t do that look at her and she replied with a shut up look back at me.

"Gosh! Really Alex?” sabi ko sa sarili ko.

“Thanks Alex, osya take your seat and we will start the opening.” Ngiting pag paalam nito.

“Bye tito.” Pag papaalam ni alex habang naka wave. Tito wave good bye and proceed to the stage.

We walked our way heading for the bleachers para maka hanap ng seat.

“You know I will not show up later at the meeting right?”  I said to Alex

"Ikaw ang kj kj mo talaga.” Iritang sabi nito. “just this once please? I will treat you for dinner after the meeting.” Nakangiting sabi nito, like wide smile and ginalaw-galaw niya pataas baba ang mga kilay niya.

“You know that I can buy a restaurant if I wanted too right?” I said with a poker face.

“Basta you will show up later, do it for me please.” Then nag puppy eyes siya. Mukha talagang aso tong babaeng to.

“May atraso kapa sa akin kanina!” pag dag-dag nito.

“Okay fine. But only this meeting.” I said.

“Yehey!!”

Pa sigaw na bulalas ni Alex dahilan kung bakit naka tingin ang ibang estudyante sa amin ngayon. Alex made a peace sign to them and proceed to the empty seats near us. While waiting nag uusap kame ni Alex ng mga random topics ng may dumaan sa harapan namin na anim na estudyante.

Parang mga ganster ang datingan yung parang nasa mga movies and then the other students are started whispering and gossiping. Apat na babae at dalawang lalaki, and the guy wearing black in the last line looks familiar.

They seated right in front of us. Di matigil ang bulongan ng mga estudyante.

“Hoi!” Bungad ni Alex

"Who are they?” I asked

“Nag bubulungan ang mga estudyante noong pumasok sila.” Dagdag ko.

“I don’t know.” Ang sabi ni Alex.

"Wait! are you curious?” she asked.

“This is the first time you are curious about something.” She Added with an amazement in her face.

“Never mind.” Tipid na sagot ko then I put my attention back at the stage.

But I can’t stop thinking about that guy. I knew that I saw him already but I can’t remember where.
