Semimaru x Natsu (Birds in flight)

Chapter Three

Natsu's  pov

I wake up.... no I am still  in the hospital... I need to go back. Every one will  be worried about me. Wait am I here to find my purpose for the group? No that wouldn't make sense. Or would it the doctor comes in " Oh your already up. Your family is here to pick you up " I look at him" ok " I get dressed into normal clothes and go to where my parents are. they hug me tightly.  This definitely cant be real my dad has a sent of cologne and my mom smells like lavender. They let go and get into the car " come on dear we are going home now " I nod and get into  the car as well. I guess  I need  to  look on the bright side of  thing. I get to spend time with my family a bit longer and I get to see nuts, but what is going on... I know  this inst real, but .... what about  with everyone  else. Is that real... " Dear we are home"  I smile and look at our home " ok" I get out of the car and walk to the front door and open in " wow"  nuts jumps into my arms" hi nuts!" He starts purring " I go to my room and lay down  with nuts in my bed. So if this isn't  real  then how am I supposed to get back?

Semimaru pov

I walk to the shelter and into Natsu's room. I knock on the door  and try to act like this is normal " hey Nat-chan! Get up! It is time to go gather food  breakfast. " I walk over to her bed and grab her hand gently " come on Natsu  you need to get up how are we supposed to  know  what foods are the one eat without your help"  I sit down  in a near by chair and silently cry" come on please wake up I need you here helping me you weak girl" Ban comes in " oh semimaru I didn't  know you would be here... hey are you ok? " I wipe away my tears. " yeah I am fine!" Ban grabs my shoulder " hey it is ok to cry"  I slap his hand away and get up quickly  letting go of Natsu's hand and leave the shelter. Shit i cant belive i did that what the hell is wrong with me!

Ban's pov

I drip water into Natsu's mouth. And replace  the wet towel. I don't know if what i  am doing is helping reduce  her temperature but it is the only thing that I know that we can do to help reduce it. I whisper quitely "for your sake and the others would you please wake up Natsu. " I check her pulse " it has slowed down... what does that mean she can't be actually dieing can she..." her pulse suddenly  increases " no that cant be the case. I guess  we really do have to just wait this all out."

Natsu's pov

My hand feels warm... is someone touching my hand outside of this... if I can feel them then maybe if i focused hard enough I can wake up or get out of this. I mean as much  as I enjoy  this I can't stay like this forever. I wonder who was touching  my hand. I bet it was ban. Mom comes in "Sweet  heart? Is everything ok?" I smile " yeah mom I am just think about some  stuff." She smiles " ok we dinner  will be ready soon and I hope you like it." " ok mom just  call me when it is done" . She leaves the room. When should I try to get out of here. If I don't  do it soon I could  end up hurting  everyone. They would  waist resources on me so the sooner  the better. I don't know though I don't  know  how time here is passing there. I guess  I could  try getting out now I have seen every one I loved here. I get out of bed and pick  up one of my books and start  reading it. " I don't  remember owning this book... HEY MOM WHEN DID I GET THIS BOOK?" She walks in and looks at it " oh your friend gave it to you a while ago. He said you would like it." I look at the book then back at her "ok thank you mom I just forgot... wait who is my friend?" She chuckles " your funny dear. Semimaru you know  the one  with the really rich mom although she says she sold  him of to the government for that money " i look at her" thanks mom" she smiles and leaves. Ok so maybe this is my self conscious trying to get me to see semimaru as someone trust worthy... or I have to figure out what really happened to us.

Semimaru's pov

I go and sit on the cliff edge and let several tears fall from my eyes " God fucking damn it Natsu!"I slam one  of my fist in to the ground  and start sobbing.  "You just had to go and fall into a coma right when everything was going so well.... now who am I supposed to confide in. Who am I supposed to tell about the nightmares of those giant aunts and spiders? Who am I supposed to go collecting food with? Natsu why the hell now of all times? Natsu what is going on with you?" I slam my fist into the ground again "God fucking damn it I just  want some fucking answers!" I wipe away my tears and slow down my breathing to stop sobbing . I hear Natsu voice echoing in my head a voice from the past 'Just slow your breathing down and take a deep breath you will be fine. I am always  right here to help you'  I try  to take a deep breath but it just comes out as a few hiccuping sounds so I try again and it works. I need to go back home.... I get up and start to head to my shared home with Natsu or not. I head back to the shelter. "So you have come back." I nod  and sit down in the chair outside of Natsu's room." Hey ban do you think there is any one  in our camp that I could go to talk.." he nods" although  they may not be of much help." I look up at the ceiling  and get comfortable in the chair" yeah  thank can you tell me who when I wake. It is weird not having her annoying the crap out of me so i am staying here for tonight to get use to the silence." Ban nods and silently leaves" her door is unlocked if you want to see her." I wave by " yeah ok bye  but it is not like I want to see her." After  he leaves I get up and open the door to her room slowly " hey Nat-chan... " I look at her sleeping figure and I sigh" Natsu did you really have to go and do something like this?" I sit down on the floor at the end of her bed and lean back on to it crying silently. I wipe away  my tears and slowly fall asleep.
