Semimaru x Natsu (Birds in flight)

Chapter Four

Natsus pov

I wonder what I should do before  trying to wake myself up. Read, write, sleep, socialize... yeah nope definitely not the last one I don't want to be picked on again... I think I will read.
The sent of fresh air fills my nose. " that's a little weird " I pick up the book I was given from semimaru apparently. " this looks like a good book but what is it about?" I flip the book over to read the back but the story note isn't there however there is a note from semimaru on it " what the.." I scan over the note " he who shall appear is he who you shall need.. what is that even supposed to mean?" I open the book and slowly  start  to read it. " this doesn't make since. Why is only some of the words here. Am I supposed to write them in?" I continue reading the book

Semimaru's pov

He wakes up and stands. I guess I need to actually go and talk to some one about this problem I am having with handling these emotions. I walk over to ban's room and knock. He opens  the door." Your up. " I look at  him" nooo I am sleep walking. " he looks at me confused " never mind you dimwit. So who is it that you recomend  I talk to?" He responds " oh botan." I roll my eyes at him and walk out of the shelter. Does  he really think I am going to go to botan?!  I will go to Arishi before i go to botan for help. I guess I should go to botan to see if there is anything other than  gathering I can do. I hardly doubt  we are really slacking in anything. I walk to botan's house and knock on the door. She opens it " Semimaru  did you finally decide to stop by to get your task ?" I nod " yeah big sis. Speaking of which if it is gathering  I am not going to do it." She shakes  her  head " it isn't that, but why wouldn't  you, you always do that task?" I look down to the side of me where Natsu would be and then back at her"  I am sure your smart enough  to put it together.  So if it isn't gathering  what is it? " She hands me a list of how  to take care of a sick person" I more or less need you to watch over Natsu. Ban will be out gathering some herbs for a few days and we need someone  taking care of her"  I roll my eyes " yeah ok I will watch over Natsu and make sure she doesn't die." She looks  at me shocked " what?" She shakes her head " it is nothing ." Please head over to ban's and if you will could  you bring her back to her room at your place? " I nod and head off back to ban's

Natsu's pov

This is an interesting book. I wonder where semimaru found  it. I will have to ask him about it.... wait this isn't  real. How is time passing while I am here is it faster, slower, or just the same. I dont like being  here anymore... I like what I had but I love what I have now. I need to figure a way out of this illusion.  I feel the sensation of being picked up  and I feel  heat on the back of my knees and neck. " natsu I am going to put you in my bed to sleep so it is easier to get to you seeing as your room is farther away from the door. "  SEMIMARU  " omg semimaru  I can hear you from in here. I start think about moving  my fingers  and it seems like nothing  Is happening , but I know that isn't  the case because I can feel the wind move through my fingers though  this illusion. I touch something warm and I grab onto it not knowing  what it is but I don't want to let go of it. It is the only thing that I know is connecting me to the outside world.

Semimaru's pov

I pick Natsu up bridal style and bring  her to my room. " Natsu I am going to put you in my bed to sleep so it is easier to get to you seeing as your room is farther away from the door." I set her down on my bed " I watch as her lips move the littlest bit and my heart stops and I drop to my knees next to her crying softly. One of my hands cover my mouth to stop myself  from crying. One of her hands creeps slowly toward me. It lightly touches  my other hand and she grabs on.  The tears and the sobs start flowing from me. " Natsu.." Botan places  her hand on my shoulder and I jump slightly " Semimaru ..." she looks down at me and I look up at her tears streaming  down my face like a waterfall " What happened semimaru?"  I speak  slowly and through  my sobs " She moved botan. She is holding my hand..." Botan pats my back gently " that is great now all we have to do is pray that she wakes up. "  I nod still crying and I place my other hand on top of  Natsu's " Natsu I know  you  can hear me.... so please please  please wake up soon"

Botan's pov

I walk to Semimaru's and Natsu's home to let semimaru know that lunch will be served soon but as I get there I hear him sobbing " Hey semimaru I am coming in!" I don't get a response. What on earth has you crying so hard that you cant hear me?! I walk in and his crying is coming  from  his room. I guess he is just now letting the news of Natsu get to him...
I knock on his door and he doesn't  answer so I walk in. He is facing  Natsu...  I walk over to him and place my hand on his shoulder and he jumps. How did he not hear me come  in " Semimaru..." I look down at him and he is a mess of tears. " what happened semimaru? "He sobs " She moved botan. She is holding my hand..." I pat his back gently to help calm him  " that is great now all we have to do is pray that she wakes up. "  he speaks softly to her" Natsu I know  you can hear me.... so please please  please wake up soon" i look at him knowing he won't want to leave " semimaru lunch is almost done. I know you don't want to leave her  but you need to eat." He shakes his head. " I can't leave her...

Natsu's pov

I look down  at the book and several  of the missing words have been filled in. "Woah that's cool but I wonder  what that means.." I highlight the new words . The, key, to, answer. " The key to answer.. the key to answer what? What am I supposed to answer. I wonder if it has to do with me getting  out. I hope so. I hear semimaru again "Natsu I know you can hear me.... so please please please wake up soon" I smile sadly " I will try semimaru I promise I will try" My mom comes in" hunny why did you yell out your friends name"  i go quite " oh i uh...... i am a bit upset with  him because.... he got me a book without telling me how good  it is?..." I smile  oh god i hope she believes this lie " oh ok hunny and by the way dinner is ready." I give her a smile "Ok thanks mom"
