Semimaru x Natsu (Birds in flight)

Chapter One

(Omg btw I guess I should give this as a warning this does have spoilers in it from the manga and the anime and I completely forgot to remind anyone who is reading this about that. I am soooooo sorry to those of you who didn't know about certain events that occurred.)

Natsu's pov

I don't know when it started but I started to love that long orange haired man. Yeah he was often a little mean to me but whenever he was around it mad me feel like I was back in the warmth of my bed with nuts sleeping on my stomach."Hey Nat-chan are you just going to sit here alone watching the stars or are you going to go and join everybody else around the fire" he starts rubbing my head violently with a smirk on his face. " uh.. huh.. oh uh yeah!" He leaves soon after my response and I look out into the the sky staring at ohryans belt for a second longer and then leave to go and join the others. I arrive later than everyone else so the most of the food is almost gone. Hana and the groups she had gathered together joined us a while ago and I am glad they did. I like having so many friends. I do miss my family though. Even though I am not alone I feel lonely sometimes. I wonder if that is normal" Nat-chan are you going to eat? " Hana looks at me I look up from staring down at my food and quietly speak" I am not really that hungry hana" she pats my back gently " come on Nat-chan you need to eat to stay healthy" I nod and start eating. I finished it after a bit and gave the bowl to Arashi. " hey are you ok?" I look up at him " yes " he smiles and walks away to clean it off. I start walking over to a cliff. I suddenly feel an arm around my shoulder. " say nat-chan now that hana is here have you finally decided to give up on lover boy over there?"he points back at Arishi. I squeek "hu? Uh yeah I guess..." he ruffles my hair " have you started writing any books?" I shake my head no then start blushing. It is hard to be around him after what happened before we met hana. He was crying... I never want to see that happen again maybe I should try to keep improving so I can help him if something like that ever happens again. " yep that is what I am going to do" " your going to do what? Your kinda too weak to do anything to productive nat-chan" I freeze up and blush " I uh was going to start a book." Semimaru ruffles my hair again" semimaru please stop that it is making me dizzy " he chuckles but stops "yeah yeah ok" I close my eyes for a second " "semimaru please stop that is making me really dizzy" I open my eyes and I feel myself falling backwards" semimaru?.. " he catches me and feels my head " my God nat-chan your burning up" he picks me up and brings me to the shelter.

Semimarus pov

I rush Natsu to the shelter and as soon as I arrive with her in my arms Instantly get questionable looks from hana and Arashi "dont give me those looks you love sick birds and tell me what the fuck is wrong with Natsu " Ban comes over and feels her head. "She has a fever so it could be many different things that is wrong with her." I look down at her and then at Arashi " you odviously think I did this I may be an asshole but I would never hurt her" Hana continues to glare at me questioningly" Just leave semimaru " I walk out of the shelter trying to keep up a smug look on my face but It fails. " Ah semimaru I seen you caring Natsu earlier what happened?" I look at Boton " she fainted with a fever so I brought her to Ban . " Boton nods and leaves. I walk over to where she was earlier and sit down " I wonder what she plans on writing about... will she be ok... what if she is sick. We don't have the proper medicine to take care of her." Kokuri and haru sit down next to me " Semimaru Kun? Is something wrong?" I nod " Nat-chan might be sick and we odviously don't have the materials to be taking care of someone who is sick..." Kokuri Pat's my back "she will be fine she is very strong. " Haru taps her back and pointed to some one behind me" I think he wants to talk to semimaru we should go. " Kokuri smiles" ok haru. I think we should go back to our house." They leave and Arishi sits down next to me.

Bans pov

I feel her head " she has a fever so it could be many different things that is wrong with her" Arishi and hana look at semimaru questioningly "You odviously think I did this I may be an asshole but I would never hurt her" hana continues to glare questioningly at semimaru. " Just leave semimaru " he leaves and I look at the two " was that necessary for you to do? " they nod " so what is wrong with her ban? " I pick Natsu up and bring her to her room " I don't know for certain, but it could be the flu, a cold , or she could be dehydrated but I don't know since no one told me the symptoms she had before she fainted. She will need water and food either way. Could one of you two get some?" They look at each other " I will get it but we cant get to much none of the crops are ready to be harvested and the dry season will be coming soon." I nod "Ok hana". She leaves and returns with some food and water " I am going to ask semimaru what happened to her before she fainted. When i come back i will tell you what he said. I will see you guys later " Arishi leaves and I place a wet cold towel on Natsus head and pour water into her mouth "

Arishi pov

I sit down next to semimaru. " so what happened to her Semimaru? " he looks up at the star filled sky " I don't really know. I was messing with her like I usually do and she asked me to stop cause it was making her dizzy so I did... she asked me to stop again after I stopped. Her head must have been spinning and she had to have been really dizzy for that then she started falling back wards so I caught her then felt her head and she was burning so I brought her to the shelter." I looked at him surprised " Your worried about her? " he blushes " well yeah she is one of the weakest of us why wouldn't I be!" I chuckle " She is not that weak semimaru. I will tell you if she ends up being sick or something like that you should probably get to bed." I get up and walk back to the shelter,and inform bon what happened. " Thank you Arishi. So the most likely thing that is wrong with her is dehydration."
