Chapter Two

Ban's pov

Arishi walks in and tells me what happened before she fainted " Thank you Arishi. So the most likely thing that is wrong with her is dehydration." I wonder how she got this way though " she should be up by tomorrow morning but if she isn't we will have to keep her inside and keep her as hydrated as we possibly can. I don't know how this is going to work but there is still a possibility that she isn't dehydrated .... she could easily be suffering from something else entirely." Hana nods" What should we tell the others. We can't just tell the that she will be ok." Arishi puts his head on hana's shoulder " what are we supposed to tell semimaru. He and I are the closest with her, him quite a bit more than me but..." I signal them to be quiet and get out of the room and they leave the room hand in hand. Will I be able to help her... I should probably get Fujiko. I leave Natsu's room to find Fujiko

Natsu's pov

I wake up and my mom and dad are crying "what's wrong?" My mom hugs me " sweetie you have been In a coma for a month. You went to sleep after dinner and we tried to wake you up the next day and you just wouldn't wake up." I hug her back. " I am sorry mom" she let's go and backs up wiping the tears from her eyes " the doctors say you can come home tomorrow." " Ok mom. " the doctor walks in " visiting hours are over now you may leave your daughter needs her rest " I lay down as my family and the doctor leaves the room. Was all of that just a dream? Wait does that mean semimaru, Arishi, hana, Botan, and all the others weren't real.... wait I want to go back. Please I want to go back. I want my friends back...I start crying " semimaru... Miss. Botan... what am I supposed to do, you guys arnt real... I want to go back...."

Ban's pov

I found her " Fujiko?" She looks at me " yes ban? " " I need help." She looks at me slightly worried " Natsu she fainted earlier and I don't know the cause of it but I am afraid she might not wake up" Fujiko puts a hand in my shoulder " well let's go check on her. " we walk back to the shelter and into her room . As soon as we enter her room I notice the sweat dripping down her face " I don't think she is dehydrated ..." Fujiko replaces the cloth " ban I have no idea what is wrong with her and honestly that scares me." I look at her shocked" what are we supposed to do?" " We just have to wait it out...." I nod " Should we tell them that she is just dehydrated? And she might be out for a while. " she shakes her head no " we can't lie to them expecalily not about Natsu. Everyone sees her as a part of their family. " I scratch my head " then what are we supposed to do. We can't just tell them that we don't know what is wrong with her and that we don't know if she will wake up. We don't even have the right medical supplies to take care of someone who is in a coma." Fujiko has tears welling up in her eyes." We have to tell them Ban." I nod " ok but we have to go to bed " we each go out separate directions and head off to bed"

Natsu's pov

No what is going on cant be real. Their hugs didn't feel warm like they do when Matsuri hugs me... right or was that just a lucid dream. If I go back to sleep will I go back to them... What if this is real though then that means... " no that had to have happened. " I know this isn't real but if I go home tomorrow that means I will get to see nuts. Should I go to sleep.... I don't know. I lay down and slowly fall asleep

Semimaru's pov

I walk to the little house me and Natsu share. "Natsu... " I sit down on the porch "what the hell am I supposed to do. I can't just go picking on someone else... I cant act like I normally do when the one person who I am attached to is passed the fuck out and might not wake up. " I go quite and tears run down my face... this is just like when those fucking ants attacked us. That scared me so fucking bad. She was almost taken from me. " i really should get some sleep. " I get up and go to my room" it is so quiet and lonely in here" I lay down on my bed and fall asleep

3rd person pov

Every one had gone to bed and got up early the next day. Botan gathers everyone together to talk about Natsu's current condition. " Hello everyone so as some of you may know yesterday Natsu fainted. The cause of her fainting has not yet been confirmed. It is thought to be due to dehydration but we don't know for sure. " Fujiko taps her shoulder " may I " she nods " ok so me and ban have figured out that it isn't dehydration that she is dealing with but we don't know what it is for all we know it could be a new disease... I know the news I am about to tell you can be heart breaking and might make you cry, but neither me or Ban know when or If Natsu will ever wake up... " she goes quiet and then semimaru speaks up " we don't have the ability to keep her alive for more than a week before her body starts to starve do we..." Hana glares at semimaru " don't say a word Hana just because you want her to live a lot longer than that doesn't mean we can keep her from starving to death." Ban shudders " .... he isn't wrong the most we can do is keep her alive till her body starts to starve. But once that starts happening there isn't much we can do but keep her hydrated. Even now that is all we can do." Botan grabs semimaru and hugs him. "What the fuck are you doing big sis botan?" "Trying to cheer you up." He pushes her away " I am fine." Botan announces to everyone that they can take the day off if they want to. Many people don't the few that do are whispering to them self's or crying

Arishi's pov

Wait what do they she might not wake up. I mean I knew it was a possibility, but I thought she would wake up by now. I squeeze hana's hand tightly as I look down " hey Arishi she is going to be fine. She is very strong. She is a very determined person. She will wake up." I look at hana " but what if she doesn't. She is like a sister to me. She is like my family. You don't know her as well as I do. She was so frail when we first got here. She has grown so much in the time I have known her and it scares me that I might lose her. What are we going to do she is too young to die. Semimaru...... how the hell is he able to handle this kind of news?"
Hana hugs me crying " I don't know but I don't want to think about losing her. She is such a sweet young lady. We have to look on the bright side."
I hug her back crying too "but what is the bright side in this that we learn of a new disease and how to treat it? I don't think that is what it is. Because if she wakes up it might not be a new disease it could just be something we already know of. Is the bright side that she could wake up to day?" I let go and wipe away my tears and hana does the same. " let's go home Arishi" I nod and we go to our home.
