I run out the health room to catch up with him. Passing in between people and hoping I can catch him in time. "John!!" I yell trying to get his attention. "Wait up!" He stops and waits for me.
"Ya...." he says. Probably a bit embarrassed because I yelled his name so loud you could here me from Southeast Asia.
"What was it that you wanted to tell me?" I say really wanting him to leap to the part I wish would come true. I am really hoping he asks me out.
"Oh. Umm, I just wanted to tell you that I am very sorry about how summer went. I really did not mean to hurt you and I want you to know that I am so different than I was when our fight started." He said with a great amount of sincerity.
"How are you different and what made you different?" I say not only a little confused, but also sad that he did not leap like I wanted.
"Well, after not talking to you for 2 weeks, I could not take it anymore. Sadie you are like my heroine. If I don't talk to you for more than a day I have a withdrawal. I wanted to text you the first hour after the fight. Sadie, I think I love you." He says, turning 4 different shades of pink.
"Well, John. I have liked you for two years now and I have been waiting for this day to come. I never thought it would ever come. But what do you love about me?" I ask wondering and not wanting to wait for anything anymore.
"Well, you have the most beautiful brown hair and brown eyes. Your skin is so beautiful. You can be my tan legged Juliet and I'll be your redneck Romeo." He says with his country accent really coming out.
"Awe that's so sweet!! Wait, are you asking me out?" I ask sounding more desperate than I actually meant to.
"Ya. I guess I am." He says, in a hopeful tone.
"Well you know what? I would love to go out with you. I would be honored." I am the happiest girl in the world right now!!!!
John's POV:
Did I make the right decision? Should I have waited longer? Was this good timing? I guess if I waited longer somebody else could have swept that beautiful southern princess off her feet. So maybe I did make the right decision. I cannot tell you how happy I am. I am blushing and my heart is pounding like drums. It is almost to the beat of one of Carrie Underwood's songs. I am almost speechless when she says yes. I cannot stop smiling and hope she doesn't realize it's because of her.We walk to the next class chatting about what we did over the summer, other than fighting.

Sorry about how badly the book is written. I have never written a book before and so I need feedback so I can be a better writer. Please help. And the tan legged Juliet and redneck Romeo was from a Jason Aldean song.
