Valentines Day

"John!!" I called out louder than I meant to. Well, at least he heard me. He started walking towards a microphone on a stand in the front of the gym. Why would he do that? Did he hear me?

"Excuse me y'all! May I have everyone's attention please! I would like to say a few words to my beautiful girlfriend Sadie. Well I guess I will start off with this: We have been dating for seven months and five days. I am so happy that I had the guts to ask you out and that you said yes. I was doubting myself that I would never find someone that is like me, and I'm so glad I kept looking. Sadie I love you more than anything in the world. Even more than hunting! So that's like a lot!! But baby you are my life and you mean the world to me. Turns out I'm pretty dagum lucky and just when I start to lose my way, you come into my life and fix everything. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I am so glad God gave me you! Happy Valentines day baby I love you so much!! I will do everything in my power to protect you and make sure that nobody hurts you physically or mentally. Not even verbally. You can count on me."

I literally start crying because that is the sweetest thing anybody has ever said to me and dang I am one lucky young lady.

"John that was the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me and I just want you to know that I love you so much and that God sent me into your life for a very good reason and I am glad he did! I love you so much and I know that I can't say anything anywhere near as sweet as that but baby I love you and you are my life now as well! I love you and happy Valentines day!! You are my cowboy and my hero." I say just barely getting everything out.

Wow today is gonna be the best day ever. I have never liked valentines day because I have never had someone to spend it with. Last year on valentines day I had to break up with my boyfriend because he cheated on me. Like why in the world would someone do that. I know that was pretty harsh of me to dump him on Valentines day but it was worth it and he definitely deserved it.

John handed me this huge box of chocolates and a four foot teddy bear that said 'Sadie you are my tan legged Juliet' on it. I hope my gift is okay. I hand him a big box of chocolates, a new pair of cowboy boots, and a new cowboy hat.

"Thank you baby this is awesome!!!"

"Your welcome. I hope your gifts are okay. I thought you could use new boots and a hat so I picked out the ones I thought you might like and wala! It just came together like magic!! Hahah!"

"Well you did great, thank you!!"

"Your welcome!"
